Later this month, HTC and Tidal will hold a charity concert in Brooklyn, NY including some of the world’s most poplar artists.
On October 20, HTC and Tidal will hold their very first music event in order to help raise awareness and collect donations for charity. According to The Verge, the event is the company’s first Tidal-affiliated philanthropic music event. All donations and ticket sales will be put towards charities through the New World Foundation. Artists such as Jay Z, Beyoncé, Prince, Usher, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne any many more are set to make an appearance.
In addition to supplying money for a great cause, the event is said to celebrate the success of Tidal which recently added its millionth subscriber to the service. The music service is facing some fierce competitors such as Spotify and Apple Music, which have already generated so much success.
Subscribers of Tidal can purchase a ticket to the concert beginning this afternoon. If you’re not a subscriber, you’ll have to wait until Friday to purchase a ticket. In addition, HTC will be live-streaming the event on their website as well as on Tidal open to everyone.
