Google Play Music gets tie-in with YouTube

Google released an update to Google Play Music today that capitalizes on Google’s move to focus on music features in the YouTube app. When users browse or play music, the app will now show whether there is a music video available on YouTube for the song a user is listening to or looking at.

Google also indicates that the Play Music app will also let users view the videos from YouTube within the Music app. The new connection between Play Music and YouTube is only available to All Access subscribers.

Another minor change involves the search function. If a user happens to incorrectly spell something when searching, Play Music will respond with a “Did You Mean?” prompt.
