The Nexus 6 just arrived in AT&T stores across the United States, but initial inventory is being returned due to a software bug. A message being distributed to AT&T stores claims that Motorola shipped the Nexus 6 with incorrect software. According to Droid Life, the software “renders a black screen and fails to connect to service when the device is powered on.” Obviously, this is a problem because it makes the device incapable of doing much. If you are experiencing any difficulties with your Nexus 6 purchased through AT&T, head over to the nearest store and figure out what is going on.

Fortunately, it was only the initial shipments affected. Many Nexus 6 owners are likely experiencing nothing out of the ordinary because of the small window limited to AT&T. Alternate solutions, for people that have yet to purchase the Nexus 6, include going to a Best Buy store or utilizing AT&T’s Direct Fulfillment Process.
