Clove UK: HTC One delayed until March 29

According to UK phone retailer Clove, the HTC One is not expected to launch until March 29. While the phone never did get an official or specific release date, the retailer’s blog suggests it was due two weeks earlier on March 15

Its worth noting that none of the U.S. carriers have indicated a particular date yet and that it isn’t technically “delayed” here.

The original launch date was due to be the 15th March. We have today been advised officially by HTC that the UK launch date has been put back to the 29th March. We apologise for this delay, but you will appreciate that this is out of our control. We hope to ship all back orders as soon as the stock arrives and will update you as soon as we can with further information.

On the other hand, one has to wonder what happens with all of these $100 trade-in credits that HTC is offering. The window is closing and your chances of qualifying is fast diminishing.

With Samsung ready to announce the Galaxy S4 in but two days time, the pendulum is definitely swinging away from HTC.
