Polaroid debuts 7-inch Android tablet for kids

Polaroid today announced a new Android based tablet, a 7-inch experience aimed at  younger children. Powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, the unnamed device comes loaded with 35 premium apps (all full versions), including Dr. Seuss and Smithsonian interactive books.

For those curious as to what the hardware looks like, the $149.99 Polaroid tablet comes with 1.0 GHz CORTEX-A8 procesor, 512MB RAM, 8GB internal storage, 2-megapixel rear camera, and 3500mAh battery. Additional details include side and rear bumpers, parental controls, and a display lock.
