Notion Ink introduces Adam II with thin ticker display on side

Remember the Notion Ink Adam II we saw back in July? Well, the Indian company finally decided to announce it, and it comes with something we didn’t even think about – a thin ticker display on the side. The successor of Adam comes with many nice features, and it will be available in both WiFi and 3G variants.

notioninkadam2It comes with a 10.1-inch IPS (1280×800 pixels) display with Asahi scratch resistant glass protection, a dual-core Cortex A9 SoC clocked at 1.5GHz, quad-core Mali 400 GPU, 1GB of RAM, 3.15-megapixel rear camera and a front camera – capable of recording 720p video recording, 8GB internal storage with a microSD card slot, dual front facing speakers and a 6,000mAh battery. Also it includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and last but of course not the least, its running on Android 4.2.2.

It will be available for RS16,500 ($265) for the Wi-Fi model and RS19,000 ($305) for the 3G version. It is only available in India right now, and no words on when it will hit the international market- but when it will, we will let you know.
