Stipe Miocic and Francis Ngannou are the most dangerous heavyweights in MMA, and their upcoming confrontation tonight — which will be their second meeting in the Octagon — is sure to be one of the most exciting fights of the whole year. Miocic, an American of Croatian heritage, first claimed the heavyweight championship in 2016 before losing it to Daniel Cormier in 2018. That set off an exciting trilogy of fights; Miocic reclaimed his title in his second fight with Cormier, then defended it in their third and final bout.

Miocic’s title loss to Cormier actually came right after his first matchup with Ngannou. Ngannou, a French-Cameroonian fighter, faced Miocic at UFC 220 to unsuccessfully challenge for the heavyweight belt (both men fought for the full five rounds, with Miocic winning by unanimous decision). But as the number one-ranked combatant on the UFC heavyweight roster, and sitting just below the champ himself, Ngannou is in a good position to unseat Miocic from the throne.

If you want to watch UFC 260 online to see for yourself how this high-stakes championship bout will go down, you’ll need to sign up for ESPN+ and grab the pay-per-view. The main event starts at 10 PM. ET.
