There’s still time to save $30 on the iPad 10.2 at Amazon for Black Friday

Amazon/Apple Inc.

While Black Friday has ended, that doesn’t mean that it’s actually too late to grab a few Black Friday deals for yourself. Especially when it comes to Apple products. And Amazon hasn’t stopped offering discounts on your favorite Apple products either. The online retailer is even still offering deals on iPads. In fact, a great example of such a deal among all the remaining Amazon Black Friday deals, is this 10.2-inch iPad with a $30 price cut.

Marked down from $329, this iPad is now available on Amazon for just $299. A nearly 10% discount that saves you $30 is certainly worthwhile.

With this deal, $299 doesn’t just buy you any old tablet. You’ll be getting the latest model, the eighth generation iPad. And this particular iPad includes a 10.2-inch Retina display, an 8MP back camera, a 1.2MP FaceTime HD front camera with HDR, 32GB of storage, an A12 Bionic chip with Neural Engine, support for the Apple Pencil, stereo speakers, Touch ID, and iPadOS 14.

Digital Trends reviewed the Apple iPad (2020)  in September, and it received a fairly stellar review from us. We particularly liked its “colorful and clear” display, its battery life — which we considered “fantastic” due to its ” ‘never think about it’ longevity,” and that overall, this iPad seems “built to last.” There were a few issues, however, including: that the 32GB of storage isn’t really enough, that it still uses the old Lightning port to charge instead of the more modern USB-C, and that its speaker seems a bit “tinny.”

But if you feel this deal just isn’t right for you, you may want to consider upgrading to this iPad Pro deal from Amazon. It does cost more than the iPad deal above, but you do get more for your money with the iPad Pro. For just $700 (which includes an initial $69 price cut from $799 and further $30 off at checkout), you’ll get an iPad Pro with an 11-inch edge-to-edge Liquid Retina display, an A12Z Bionic chip with Neural Engine, a 12MP Wide Camera, a 10MP Ultra Wide camera, a 7MP TrueDepth front camera, Face ID, a USB-C connector, and 128GB of storage capacity.

Whether you end up buying an iPad or iPad Pro, it’s still worth it to shop around for the best possible deal.
