Amazon’s deal on the 2TB Samsung T5 Portable SSD is notable because for only $230 you can get a fairly high-end portable SSD at a nearly 20% discount. Without it, you’d be paying $280.
But let’s talk about what makes the Samsung T5 Portable SSD better than your run-of-the-mill external hard drive: You’re getting a massive storage capacity at 2TB, which means this SSD can handle storing high-resolution photos, videos, and whatever documents you need to backup. You’re also getting an SSD with blazing-fast transfer speeds of up to 540MB per second which will make quick work of transferring and backing up videos and photos.
