The OnePlus 7T is the latest offering in OnePlus’s lineup, and while it may not technically be the most impressive, it is the phone we recommend most people buy. It has a stunning 90Hz AMOLED display with a 2400×1080 resolution, three rear cameras that allow for a lot of photography opportunities, a fast in-screen fingerprint sensor, and Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 855+ CPU paired with 8GB of RAM.

OnePlus 7 Pro

While it may have been released a few months before the 7T, the OnePlus 7 Pro continues to be the more “premium” smartphone in the company’s lineup. The display is still AMOLED with a 90Hz resolution, but it’s a bit sharper at 3120×1440. You also get a fancy pop-up selfie camera, up to 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. It is rocking the Snapdragon 855 instead of the 855+, but if you want your phone to have some pizzaz, the 7 Pro is the way to go.

OnePlus 6T

Released in late-2018, the OnePlus 6T is still being sold on OnePlus’s website as the company’s most affordable smartphone offering in the U.S. Despite its age, the 6T still has a lot to offer. There’s a 6.41-inch AMOLED display, dual rear cameras, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 processor, and 8GB of RAM. You are missing out on the sleek 90Hz display tech, but if you want that sweet OnePlus experience while spending as little as possible, the 6T delivers.

The beauty of OnePlus phones is that they’re often a lot less money than the competition, but you’ll still get a flagship-quality phone. As such, the OnePlus 7T is an easy choice for our top recommendation. Between the Snapdragon 855+ processor, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and 90Hz AMOLED display, this phone would easily cost close to $1,000 if it was sold by the likes of Samsung or Google. Since it’s offered by OnePlus, however, it costs a fraction of similar phones sold by those other guys.

OnePlus phones have tended to get more and more expensive over the years, but the 7T shook things up by actually being cheaper than the 7 Pro’s MSRP that came out before it. For the vast majority of people, it’s the OnePlus phone to get.

Speaking of the OnePlus 7 Pro, it’s the OnePlus phone we urge you to check out if your heart isn’t stolen by the 7T. It has a more attractive design, a higher-res display, and has a bit of a cool factor thanks to the pop-up selfie camera. It’s also cheaper than the 7T, making it a fantastic time to pick the phone up if you don’t care about the older processor.
