CES 2016 is less than a week away and Netflix may have big plans to start off the 2016 year.
During CES 2016, Netflix is expected to discuss its expansion plans for the Indian territory. The service is already scheduled to hit Hong Kong, South Korea, Singapore, and Taiwan later in the year. If the company does indeed bring its streaming service to India, it will add to the already long list of supported countries.
Netflix is scheduled to hold a press conference on Wednesday, January 6th where it will likely talk about its big plans. It’s abnormal for a company like this to hold a big event at a trade show like this unless it’s something major.
