Ahead on their official announcement, two new mid-range Sony Xperia devices have been leaked in their full glory. One of them happens to be the bezel-less 6-incher Xperia C5 Ultra, while the other – the Xperia M5 – looks like a stripped down version of Sony’s current flagship, the Xperia Z3+.

According to a report published in Hi-Tech.Mail.ru, the Xperia C5 will feature a massive 6-inch FHD (1080p) display with 0.8mm thin side frame, as we had revealed earlier. Although phablet comes with a huge screen, handling it should not be very difficult thanks to its clever built and design. Speaking of which, the handset features a glossy plastic body with metal sides. It will be available in white, black and mint colors.

In the imaging department, the Xperia C5 Ultra will feature 13-megapixel front and back camera sensors, aided by LED flash on both sides.

As far as the hardware is concerned, the Xperia C5 will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor clocked at 1.7 GHz, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB expandable inbuilt storage and a 2,930 mAh battery. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots and NFC. It is likely to be priced around $343 to $359 in the United States.

Now let’s move on to the smaller handset of the pack – the Xperia M5. It appears to have taken design inspirations from the Xperia Z3+. Featuring a 5-inch FHD IPS display, the device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 processor clocked at  2 GHz in addition to 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB internal memory. It will house a 2,600 mAh battery, which should keep the device going for two days. The camera specifications of the handset look quite promising as it feature a 21.5-megapixel Exmor RS sensor capable of hybrid autofocus, f/2.2 and fast autofocusing (0.2 seconds) and 5x zoom without any loss in the image quality. The front-facing camera will have a 13-megapixel sensor for quality selfies and video-calling.

According to the Russian website, the device also has IP65/IP68 dust and water certification. Likely to be priced around $390 – $406, the Xperia M5 will come in black, silver and gold colors. Both devices will be launched this week as Sony had indicated in a teaser earlier.
