Next year, Sony will release a very large tablet. It is being reported by DigiTimes that the Japanese company is about to start mass producing a tablet that has a display exceeding the 12-inch mark. With Sony no longer active in the personal computer market, it looks like high-end tablets are the target.
The specifications listed by the source align with what was uncovered last week. It has a 12.9-inch display with 3840×2400 resolution, Qualcomm processor, 8MP camera, and measure 8.6mm thin. The source says that the price of this tablet can possibly reach $1,000 when it arrives in the first half of 2015. Components have already been prepared and it is awaiting mass production.
