Blog Traffic- The only Traffic you really want!

Social media and social networking sites are making their way in the online community, influencing people and changing the way we think and act. Blogging is one of the fastest ways to let people know about your thoughts and express your opinion on a certain aspect of interest whether it scopes on the latest movies, book reviews or the buzz on fashion and beauty. Now, after starting your blog, you would want to have more readers, exchange views and have suggestions with them, but upon looking at the sitemeter, you noticed that stagnant line, not promising additional views of your site. What could be wrong on your site and how can you improve blog traffic?

Get-More-Traffic-to-New-Blog

If you are not receiving any comments from readers saying how interesting and engaging your blog site is, you have to improve your approach and create mind-blowing features to keep them involved. Here are some ways on how to get more traffic on your blog.

Attractive Blog Design!:

Web design is one of the quickest ways to capture interest and awaken the curiosity of people. At first look, they should be impressed with the organization of thoughts, the way your blog site looks and the consistency of the design with the type of blog you are portraying. There are numerous templates to choose from, but if you want to be more original and eye-catching, learn the basic of CSS and customize a template. Make it vibrant and outstanding!

Write intriguing and striking headlines:

After cleaning the appearance of your blog, the next to alter is the content. Attract your readers with your headlines, or even so in the first words of your posts. Be sure to keep them engrossed by showing more photos and having a portfolio of your experiences.

Use Twitter, Facebook and Google:

Twitter, Facebook and Google+ are social networking sites which have over million users. Twitter for instance has 465 million registered accounts while Facebook has over 850 million accounts. Google+ has 100 million. By using these social networking sites, you can attract more readers to participate in your blog and use these to spread your link in the World Wide Web. Start on sharing contents and friends online. Be prepared to interact and network properly. Use hash tags, search boxes and engage in discussions you’re attracted in. Promote your blog!

Leave comments on other peoples blogs

When visiting other people’s blog, interact with them, ask help and make new friends. Ask politely and interact. Give comments on their blog posts and ask them to visit your site as well. You do not only share different views and opinion but also make them help you in endorsing your blog.

Conduct contests and Giveaways:

Who would not want to have an acquisition for free, just by logging in, answering questions and helping you to promote your blog? Nowadays, bloggers conduct contest and give some of their pre-loved items to their most loyal readers online. Mostly, they choose the random lucky winner. If your blog is about books, give away a precious copy of a book, a cute bookmark or a book light. Anything goes in terms of giving, just be sure it is still usable. Likewise, by conducting contests, you can ask help for others to promote your blog, the more they tag friends the more chances is your blog to get traffic!

Be consistent!:

Just write and pay attention to blog statistics. If at first weeks or months, there is stagnant growth, come up with new features, write more striking contents and take risks with new ideas. Study the statistics and see where your traffic gets low and high. What are the topics they are mostly interested and where did they doze off? In this case you will know what the topics they are most engrossed in.
