There are a ton of deals available to shop today thanks to Best Buy’s “Black Friday in July” sale lasting all week. The sale typically aligns closely with Prime Day each year, but of course, Amazon’s shopping holiday happened much earlier than we expected. So it’s nice to have some deals in July.
One of example of a great deal is Apple’s AirPods Max 2, which are down to $449.99 at Amazon and Best Buy, $100 off their usual price. It’s only the second time they’ve been discounted. Prime Day knocked them all the way down to $399.99, but today’s price isn’t bad at all if you missed out last month. They’re available at this price in every color.

Our review called the Max 2 a “great sequel, but not an ambitious one.” In short, not much has changed, especially in terms of design. There are some internal improvements that might make it worth it for those who have the original iteration (especially if you have the model with the Lightning connector). The Max 2 features USB-C connectivity like the 2024 revision, but has a built-in amp that delivers incredible sound that edges out the competition, not to mention the H2 wireless chip that enables features like live translation, adaptive audio, and conversation awareness.

- The Logitech G Pro X2 Superstrike wireless gaming mouse is a fascinating PC gaming accessory. Instead of having physical switches under its two main mouse buttons, it uses haptic motors to simulate the click sensation. The company made the switch to decrease latency, and to let you customize how much of a jolt each click delivers. The $179.99 mouse is down to $125.99, a temporary price cut that’ll be reflected at the checkout screen.
- Some other great Apple deals switched on overnight, including a four-pack of AirTags (second-gen) Bluetooth trackers. Originally $99.99, the four-pack is down to $89.99 at Amazon and Best Buy. Costco members can get an even better deal with five second-gen AirTags for $99.99. The latest AirTags’ biggest features include a louder alarm and extended range, which could give you a better chance at finding your lost items compared to the first-gen version, even if it’s four floors below (something the original AirTag couldn’t reliably do). - Kodak’s Charmera isn’t a great camera. Let’s get that out of the way first. However, the name is on point — it’s charming as heck. The quality of the photos isn’t what you should buy it for. It’s just fun to have a flash-ready, screen-equipped digital camera connected to your keychain. Each Charmera comes in a blind box, so you won’t know which design you’ll get until you open it. If that sounds thrilling, you can try it out yourself with a good discount from Best Buy, where it costs $33.49 through the day (originally $49.99).
