What is the release date for Spartacus: House of Ashur episode 9 on Starz?

I’m still reeling from last week’s episode of Spartacus: House of Ashur. In my opinion, episode 8 shocked us with the Starz show’s most brutal death yet, as Celadus (Dan Hamill) fell victim to the House of Proculus’ newly acquired female gladiator.

It’s all a plot to build up to Achillia’s (Tenika Davis) triumphant return to the arena, but now she’s lost her love and biggest cheerleader. Even worse, Tarchon (Jordi Webber) is choosing to make her life even more difficult.

But can the two get it together in Spartacus: House of Ashur episode 9, and when will it be streaming?

What time can I watch Spartacus: House of Ashur episode 9 on Starz?

Spartacus: House of Ashur episode 8 is set to air on Starz on Friday, January 30 at 9pm PT/6pm ET.

When it does, you’re looking out for these international release times:

  • US – 6pm PT / 9pm ET
  • Canada – 6pm PT / 9pm ET
  • UK – 2am GMT, January 31
  • India – 7:30pm IST, January 31
  • Singapore – 10am SGT, January 31
  • Australia – 1pm AEDT, January 31
  • New Zealand – 3pm NZDT, January 31

UK viewers can find episodes on MGM+.

For US fans, episodes of the original Spartacus series are also available to stream on-demand (sorry UK and Australia, you’ll need to buy/rent them on Apple TV).

When do new episodes of Spartacus: House of Ashur come out?

After episode 8’s unexpected delay, we’re hoping to see a return to weekly scheduling from episode 9 onwards.

The finale is now pushed to February 6.

Our best guess is to assume weekly releases are continuing as normal from now, which gives us this season’s release schedule:

  • Episode 1: out now
  • Episode 2: out now
  • Episode 3: out now
  • Episode 4: out now
  • Episode 5: out now
  • Episode 6: out now
  • Episode 7: out now
  • Episode 8: out now
  • Episode 9: January 30, 2026
  • Episode 10: February 6, 2026
