The hit 2025 HBO show The Pitt is set to return for a second season. It’ll premiere on January 8, 2026 and will follow the same 15-episode format as its debut season, albeit with a 10-month time jump. As explained by creator R. Scott Gemmill, the gap allows for Dr. Langdon’s full inpatient rehab and more natural character development.
Here’s how you can stream The Pitt season 2 online, no matter where you are in the world.
- USA: HBO Max
- Australia: HBO Max
- UK: TBC – Use NordVPN to watch any stream
The first season was one of the most-watched titles globally in 2025 and earned a 95% critics’ score on Rotten Tomatoes. It even bagged several Emmy awards, including Outstanding Drama Series and Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series.
The Pitt Season 2 will dive into the chaos of the Fourth of July weekend, with each episode unfolding over a single hour of an ER shift, from 7am to 10 pm.
The trailer for the second instalment has apparently answered a major season 1 cliffhanger – by showing Dana Evans working in the background. The season 1 finale left Dr. Dana questioning whether she could continue in the job, but it now seems she’s chosen to push through the ER’s daily chaos.
Alongside Dr. Evans, viewers can expect several new faces this season, including Lawrence Robinson as Brian Hancock, Zack Morris as Jackson Davis, and Sepideh Moafi as an attending physician.
