How to watch Red Eye season 2 — free streams from anywhere

Detective Hana Li’s (Jing Lusi) feet are planted firmly on the ground in Red Eye season 2, but when a party at the US embassy and a government jet carrying MI5 Director General Madeline Delaney (Lesley Sharp) and US Defence Secretary Alex Peterson (Nicholas Rowe) are simultaneously hijacked, leaving her no option but to join forces with Clay Brody (Martin Compston), that flight with Dr Matthew Nolan starts feeling more and more like an idyllic break.

You can watch Red Eye season 2 online from anywhere with a VPN and potentially for free.

Premiere: Thu, Jan 1 at 9pm GMT

Watch free: ITVX (UK)

What led Hana to the embassy in the first place was an investigation into the murder of a diplomatic courier at Heathrow, whose documents were stolen before the message could be delivered. When bodies start piling up, it soon becomes clear that there’s a killer in their midst.

So begins a game of cat and mouse, albeit on a far grander scale than initially suspected. When the perpetrator pledges to blow up the jet if anyone leaves the US embassy, there’s no longer any doubt that this is a coordinated political event.

What Hana can do without is the hierarchical bickering. It isn’t clear what went down between Hana and head of embassy security Clay during their time together at police college, but there’s a reason he went down the private route – and takes such satisfaction in (attempting to) pull rank.
