‘A great TV for sports’ — Amazon currently has $500 off a TV that we’d highly recommend for the Super Bowl

This year’s Super Bowl is finally in sight now, and we’re already starting to see promising TV deals. As always, retailers are looking to cash in on the massive sporting event with price cuts on slightly older 2025 models. Right now, one excellent example is this 65-inch TCL QM8K TV at Amazon for just $997.99 (was $1,499).

This is a model that we reviewed last year, and we were extremely impressed by its combination of picture quality, wide viewing angle, and, of course, value. Despite being TCL’s flagship display, the QM8K manages to significantly undercut its rivals in price, which means it’s a great option if you’re looking for a good-sized, high-quality display that isn’t crazy expensive.

Today’s deal is the best we’ve seen on this particular model since Black Friday, where, annoyingly, it was $100 cheaper. Today’s price at Amazon is still fantastic, however, and gets you a whopping $500 off either the 65-inch or 75-inch variants.

65-inch TCL QM8K TV deal at Amazon

Today’s deal at Amazon knocks an impressive $500 off the TCL QM8K TV – a model that we rate extremely highly thanks to its excellent value. With a wide viewing angle, impressive brightness, and premium design, the TCL QM8K stands out as a fantastic choice in this price range if you’re looking for a high-end TV that doesn’t completely break the bank.View Deal

We extensively tested the TCL QM8K in our review and found it to be an impressive all-around performer for the money. Our Senior TV reviewer, Al Griffin specifically singled out this TV’s appeal for sports, stating “the anti-reflection screen on the QM8K effectively reduces screen glare during daytime sports viewing, while the Ultra Wide Angle feature means its picture looks solid even from off-center seats.”

Alongside an impressive feature set for sports, the TCL QM8K also features support for 144Hz gaming, Dolby Vision, and other HDR modes. The TV also supports Dolby Atmos and DTS Virtual:X, although we’d still recommend hooking up a decent sound bar if you’re watching movies to achieve a proper high-quality sound.
