The Samsung Galaxy S26 might finally be getting its version of MagSafe – here are 8 accessories to expect

  • Eight possible accessories for the Samsung Galaxy S26 series have leaked
  • These include five different cases, a wireless charger, a battery pack, and a ring holder
  • Many of these accessories also include magnets

The Samsung Galaxy S25 series can already do a solid imitation of MagSafe, but only if you apply a magnetic case to one of these phones – which will then allow you to attach magnetic accessories to the back. But leaks have suggested the Samsung Galaxy S26 series might have magnets built in, and the latest leak highlights some accessories that might make use of those magnets.

WinFuture has shared details of numerous official accessories that are apparently planned for the Samsung Galaxy S26 series, most but not all of which are cases.

There’s a ‘Magnetic Carbon Case’ in black for the Samsung Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26 Plus, a ‘Magnetic Clear Case’ for the Samsung Galaxy S26, S26 Plus, and Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, and a ‘Clear Case’ without magnets for the Samsung Galaxy S26 and the S26 Plus.

There’s also a ‘Magnetic Rugged Clear Case Black’ and a ‘Magnetic Silicone Case’ in a choice of black or gray, both of which are apparently planned for the S26, Galaxy S26 Plus, and Galaxy S26 Ultra.

So that’s five cases, and WinFuture notes that it expects other colors will be offered for some of them too.

Beyond cases, the site also claims we’ll see a ‘Dual Magnetic Ring Holder’ for all models, a 25W wireless charger (which is notable because the current models top out at 15W), and a Magnetic Wireless Battery Pack with a 5,000mAh capacity.

So that’s eight accessories, with the site adding that there will probably be more beyond these as well.

A question of magnets

Many of these accessories are also magnetic, suggesting Samsung will be making a real push to offer a MagSafe-like ecosystem for its upcoming flagship phones. That said, the fact that some of the cases have magnets in is also cause for concern, as that could mean the phones won’t have built in magnets – in other words, you’d need to put a magnetic case on one to then use it with the Magnetic Wireless Battery Pack or the Dual Magnetic Ring Holder.

But it’s also entirely possible that the cases simply augment the built in magnets, to allow for a stronger connection to accessories while the phone is in a case.

As noted, previous rumors have pointed to magnets being built in, with for example reputable leaker @UniverseIce showing a diagram of a Galaxy S26 that seemingly includes a magnet. So there’s a good chance these phones will offer a true, built-in MagSafe alternative, but either way it looks likely that they’ll support plenty of magnetic accessories.
