Stream this MGM+ show after Robin Hood episode 10 — I promise you won’t regret it

And so, the end is here. Robin Hood has hands-down been my favorite MGM+ series of 2025, thanks to the urban legend that has had a complete identity transplant, with a fleshed-out background, family life and inner conscience.

Young Rob (Jack Patten) and Marian’s (Lauren McQueen) budding relationship has been endearing to watch, while Eleanor of Aquitaine (Connie Nielsen) has been delivering sage wisdom like it’s clockwork.

Over the course of 10 episodes, the Amazon show has taken viewers on Rob’s journey from humble farm boy to the man in tights (well, he doesn’t wear tights in this version, but you get the idea).

While I have it on good authority that the show’s creators, Jonathan English and John Glenn, are “working on” Robin Hood season 2 (which hasn’t yet been confirmed), I asked them for their recommendation for what to watch now that season 1 is over.

Their choice? Absolute perfection.

Outlander is the ideal double bill with Robin Hood episode 10 — stream before season 8 in 2026

Of course, their choice is Outlander, one of Starz and MGM+’s most renowned shows to date.

“I’m a fan of Outlander,” Glenn explains as English nods in agreement. “I think it has similar themes, right? It’s very romantic, but it still feels very grounded. It still feels like that world that you’re part of is real.

“But the two are very different tonally. But I love Peaky Blinders and Vikings, which are very different types of shows. But I think Outlander is a cop in some ways.”

It’s a timely recommendation too, with Outlander season 8 – which is the show’s final outing – dropping on both platforms in March 2026.

If that isn’t enough, prequel series Outlander: Blood of My Blood is also available to tuck into, with season 2 renewed before season 1 even aired.

“You’ll see your characters at the end of season 1, and then where they start season 2 is wildly not what you’d expect,” star Jeremy Irvine said of the prequel. “I wasn’t expecting it. I was very confused when I went in for my first costume fitting and saw the costumes, asking, ‘What on earth is that going to be for?’

Basically, that’s your streaming binge sorted until at least the middle of January… thank me later.
