The answers to today’s Strands, game #665, are…

  • SNIFFLE
  • SNEEZE
  • COUGH
  • WHEEZE
  • HACK
  • DRIP
  • SNORT
  • SPANGRAM: COLDSYMPTOM
  • My rating: Hard
  • My score: Perfect

If you currently have a cold then I would like to offer you my sympathies; I’ve just had one that lasted about three weeks and felt very sorry for myself.

That said, the main COLDSYMPTOM I experienced was grumpiness, something that didn’t make the cut to the list of words we were looking for.

I’m classifying this as a tricky game as it involved a few difficult twists, exactly the kind of challenge that’s tricky to deal with when you’re competing with brain fog and a demonic SNIFFLE.
