Game in style with almost 50% off this 31.5-inch MSI Curved Gaming Monitor

Feeling the Black Friday blues? If you missed our Black Friday gaming monitor deals, you can still get this MSI Optix G32C4W Curved Gaming Monitor at Walmart for $129 (was $249).

Curved monitors have become more popular for gaming over the past few years because of how they increase immersion. The curved screen matches the natural curve of your eye, which makes it easier to take in details and reduces the strain on your vision, too.

This particular MSI curved gaming monitor is very similar to the MSI Optix G27C4 we recommended in the past, just with a larger 31.5-inch screen instead of a 27-inch one. I’d argue that the bigger screen makes it even better. It also matches the VA LED panel, speedy refresh rate and response time, all for a terrific low price.

Today’s best cheap gaming monitor deal

The MSI Optix G32C4W might just be the best curved gaming monitor deal out there right now in terms of value for money. For less than $130, you get a 31.5-inch VA LED panel with a 165Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time. The 178-degree viewing angle and 1500R curvature are also worth noting, but may not be ideal for all preferences.View Deal

VA panels are a special kind of LED display that use vertically aligned (thus, VA) liquid crystals to increase brightness and contrast, which really shine in the MSI Optix G32C4W. The visuals really pop with the 178-degree viewing angle and 1500R curvature – not quite top-tier, but desirable for the price.

It’s got other perks to improve visuals, too. The 165Hz refresh rate (higher than the average mid-range gaming laptop I’ve seen) and 1ms response time keep gaming sessions snappy, and AMD FreeSync minimizes any screen tearing you might find.

As for connectivity options, it includes two HDMI (1.4) ports and one Display Port (1.2). These aren’t the top-of-the-line, either, but match the capabilities of a monitor that can’t go 4K and sticks to full HD 1080p.
