What is the release date for Squid Game: The Challenge season 2 episode 5-7 on Netflix?

With 456 players competing for a $4.56 million prize fund (still one of the highest in US gameshow history), Squid Game: The Challenge season 2 is back.

Squid Game season 3 might have wrapped up earlier in the year, but clearly the excitement for risking your life in front of masked guards hasn’t gone away. The reality TV show version of the Netflix Original series has already been renewed for a third season, so we’re clearly just getting started.

However, the release schedule for Squid Game: The Challenge season 2 is nothing like the fictional series. Here’s when you can expect to be able to binge the full series from start to finish (hint: that’s not immediately).

When do the next episodes of Squid Game: The Challenge season 2 come out?

You might have noticed that only the first four episodes of Squid Game: The Challenge season 2 are on Netflix, and that’s on purpose.

Following in the footsteps of season 1, new episodes are being released in batches, meaning the entire season 2 release schedule looks something like this:

  • Episodes 1-4: November 4
  • Episodes 5-7: November 11
  • Episodes 8-10: November 18

The season 2 finale will be included in the final batch drop, meaning we’re not being left waiting for anything else after November 18.

As for the time, Squid Game: The Challenge season 2 is getting a classic Netflix release. Don’t let that catch you out too much – while most original series are released on a Thursday, season 2 will be released on Tuesdays.

However, the following familiar time patterns are when you can expect each episode batch to drop:

  • US – 12am PT / 3am ET
  • Canada – 12am PT / 3am ET
  • UK – 8am GMT
  • India – 1:30pm IST
  • Singapore – 4pm SGT
  • Australia – 7pm AEST
  • New Zealand – 9pm NZDT
