The Altas PT Ultra records excellent, crisp footage during the day, but according to our reviewer Chris Price, it really excels after dark.
“Whereas most security cameras only display poor black and white images at night, the Reolink features ColorX technology enabling full-color footage without the need for spotlights (though in extremely dark environments the built-in spotlights will come on to enhance visibility),” he said.
He also found that, unlike some rival security cams, the Altas PT Ultra practically never generated false positive alerts, which is testament to Reolink’s excellent software.
