Dyson Black Friday 2025 deals have come early – these are the best discounts on vacuums, hair tools and fans

Black Friday 2025 deals have come early and, while I’m hunting down great bargains across all categories tech in my dedicated live coverage of the best early Black Friday deals in Australia, I’m a home appliances expert as well.

That includes testing and writing about vacuum cleaners, trying out new hair styling tools and even reviewing air purifiers. And there’s one name in the industry that does all of these in style – Dyson.

The Aussie Dyson Black Friday sale has already started with up to AU$650 off select products available directly from the maker, but I’m also scouring other retailers who are authorised stockists. I’m also checking Dyson alternatives for you, so you can make the best buying decision on a new vacuum, styler or fan this Black Friday sale season.

I will be around until Cyber Monday ends on December 1, so stay with me as I bring you the latest deals, news and updates for anything Dyson related (or a dupe).

Best Black Friday Dyson deals

Vacuums

It’s been succeeded by the V16 Piston Animal as the most powerful Dyson yet, but the suction here is still superb. And this is the Complete variant, meaning it’s a Dyson exclusive that gets you every single attachment (6 in total) along with 2 cleaning heads – the Digital Motorbar and the Fluffy Optic. You’ll also get the Dyson Free Dok Multi, which is a free-standing dock to stow it all away.View Deal

This whopping discount via the official Dyson eBay Store is absolutely a steal, beating last year’s Black Friday price by AU$10. If you don’t need 6 attachments and the freestanding dock, this version of the Gen5detect might be better value for you. You’ll get 2 cleaning heads and 2 attachments in the box, which isn’t bad at all. Be sure to use the checkout code SAVENOV for the full discount.View Deal

Save AU$801

If you live in a large home, having a high-capacity dust canister on your cordless vacuum cleaner is handy. Dyson’s Gen5outsize comes with a bigger bin that’s 150% larger than the usual Dyson ones, plus larger cleaning heads to get the job done faster. You even get a bigger battery that promises up to 70 minutes of fade-free power. However, that bigger battery and larger fixtures makes this a heavy machine, so it might be unwieldy for some users. Note that this is the Complete model, so you get the Free Dok Multi included.View Deal

Save AU$751

If you aren’t too fussed about a free-standing dock, you get the biggest Dyson cordless vacuum for a lot less if you opt for the Absolute model. Everything about it stays the same (except the colour scheme), but you won’t get as many inclusions here. It’s still a fantastic option for larger homes or ones with pets.View Deal

Dyson’s original wet-dry cordless stick vacuum is pretty handy to have around the home – you can vacuum first and then follow it up with a mop. I still use it at home and, in my Dyson V15s Detect Submarine review, I found the mopping to be very good indeed but a design flaw makes some of that dirty water slosh out when you want to clean out the Submarine attachment. If you can find a way around it, this is one could be well worth considering. Note that The Good Guys’ price-beat offer could score you this model for AU$779 at the time of writing.View Deal

It might be getting a little long in the tooth but the V15 Detect is still arguably the best Dyson you can buy. And this price on eBay with the checkout code SAVENOV added is excellent value indeed! It’s lighter than the models that came after it, runs up to 60 minutes on a single charge (albeit in low suction and non-motorised tools), and the Fluffy Optic is a game changer for cleaning fine particles off hard floors.View Deal

It was down to AU$569 on Amazon previously and proved so popular, stocks ran out. While this offer isn’t as good, it’s still a very decent saving on what is still a very good vacuum cleaner. The V11 has up to 60 minutes of run time, and it’s got an LCD screen to show you just how much battery life you’ve got left.

The Good Guys have also listed the V11 Advanced for AU$675, but the price-beat option could score you slightly better discount.View Deal

This older Dyson vacuum was down to AU$589 on Amazon in October 2024, but was selling for AU$749 through Black Friday 2024, so I suppose it’s fair to say this is a decent deal on the V10. It offers fade-free power for up to 60 minutes, and this variant comes with a Fluffy cleaning head (not the one with the light as in the V15) and the Digital Motorbar to suit homes with mixed flooring. There are three additional attachments in the box, along with a wall dock.View Deal

The V8 might be Dyson’s oldest current model, but it’s the best option on a budget. The V8 Plus model ships with two additional tools and the Digital Motorbar, but there’s also a wall docking station included. This lightweight vacuum will give you up to 40 minutes of runtime, so is better suited to smaller homes. Use the checkout code SAVENOV to get this record-low price.View Deal

Dyson’s first robot vacuum cleaner to be available in Australia isn’t bad, and it’s the only robovac to use a side ‘tongue’ or scoop to suck up dust collected along room edges. While it’s fine as a vacuum, there are better and more versatile options on the market these days. But hey, if you really want a Dyson robovac, I’m not one to judge. View Deal

Haircare tools

This hair dryer has a plethora of sensors that make sure your scalp remains healthy, automatically adjusting heat and airflow depending on how far away the dryer is from your head. You also get a bunch of magnetic attachments for a styled blow dry too – this hair dryer won a TechRadar Gadget of the Year Award in 2024, so it’s well worth considering. View Deal

The price of the Airwrap has been hovering around this price point for a while now, and it’s a goodly saving on the popular multi-styler. Note, though, that the barrel here is for longer hair lengths. Also included is the Flyaways attachment and a few brushes for volume or straightening.View Deal

I don’t recall such a good discount on the new edition of the Airwrap multi-styler, but note that only a few of the colourways get this AU$150 saving. According to TechRadar’s Home Editor, this is the best hair styler tool, hands down, with the curl.i.d switch being the game changer here. It’s still an investment and I don’t think this price will drop any further through the sale period.View Deal

Promising to take way less time to straighten hair than traditional flat irons by working just fine in wet hair, the Airstrait is the hair-care tool making headlines. It won’t burn wet hair as other straighteners would, leaving you with less hair damage and a quicker styling session in the mornings.View Deal

Save AU$201

While the Dyson Airstrait is busy making headlines, the older Corrale hair straightener is getting a rather nice 29% discount on Amazon. It’s a heavy appliance, but it works cordlessly and even has an airplane mode that disconnects the battery while you’re travelling. It also has a safety shut off that activates after about 10 or 15 minutes of inactivity.View Deal

Save AU$200

It might be marginally cheaper than the Nural, but with the current Amazon discount, the newer and smarter hair dryer is the better buy. Still, the old Supersonic has a fan following and if you’ve been holding off for it, Dyson’s got a good price on the Copper/Nickel colourway. It’s not the best price we’ve seen though – which was AU$399 – but it’s still a decent saving.View Deal

Fans, heaters and air purifiers

It might be a basic tower fan from Dyson, but it promises to cool the room down quickly by amping up its airflow. It comes with a handy remote control and there’s a timer functionality too. A decent 20% discount gives it a more approachable price tag.View Deal

It’s big and its really quiet even at full bore, but this is arguably one heck of a purifying fan. In our Dyson Purifier Big+Quiet Formaldehyde review, we said it works well in large, open spaces, but its price tag is quite prohibitive, even with this discount – it was half price last year for Black Friday – but it’s unique enough and very effective to not list here.View Deal

Save AU$122

This is part of the latest range of air purifying fans and heaters from Dyson, with improved filtration following the HEPA H13 standard. This purifier oscillates 350º to cool you down in summer or warm you up in winter, and the filter is easy to change. You’ll know when you need to via the tiny display on the machine. It comes with a handy little remote control and offers a night mode where it quietens down to allow lighter sleepers to rest easy.View Deal

Save AU$324

This Dyson appliance offers heating, cooling and air purification, making it more space-efficient than investing in separate devices. Like the name suggests, this device removes formaldehyde from your home, and Dyson claims the appliance destroys it completely. It’s a rather expensive device, but it looks modern and sleek, and the all-in-one aspect is appealing.View Deal

Save AU$311

With the Australian summer here, you might be thinking it’s time to upgrade your old pedestal fan. The Dyson Purifier Cool is a futuristic-looking stand-up fan, which can keep you cool while also purifying the air around you. It rotates up to 350° and even has a night mode, so it uses its quietest settings. This purifying fan was available for AU$599 during last year’s Black Friday, so this is a very welcome discount. View Deal

Save AU$254

Stay cool in summer and warm in winter with the Dyson Pure Hot+Cool Link. A nifty gadget you can use all year round to keep a room at a comfortable temperature, it also acts as an air purifier, filtering the air it circulates so you can breathe easy. Plus, it’s nabbed a solid AU$254 discount directly from its maker.

Save AU$100

This version of Dyson’s bladeless fan can keep you warm in winter, cool you down in summer, and purify the air in your home all year round. The air purifier is sealed to HEPA H13 standard, and Dyson says whatever it captures stays inside. This device doesn’t have the formaldehyde-destroying feature, but that means it’s a bit less expensive.View Deal

Headphones

We thought these cans were overpriced in our Dyson OnTrac review, but appreciated that the British brand has done a far better job on its second set of headphones than the Zone. While sound is lovely, there are others who do it better, but just being able to customise the headphones might well be worth the cash.View Deal

Save AU$150

It made the news for all the wrong reasons and, admittedly it’s not the best idea Dyson had for headphones, but if you’re the exception who is keen to try these… well, exceptional headphones with the purifying mask, Amazon has a pretty decent discount.View Deal

Lighting

I tested this lamp and, although I thought it was overpriced, I couldn’t help but admire it, calling it a “showstopper” in my Dyson Solarcycle Morph review. It was down to AU$698 around this time last year, so this ain’t bad.View Deal

Best Black Friday deals on Dyson alternatives

Other cordless vacuums

This popular budget vacuum cleaner is always a bestseller when discounted and this is its lowest price yet. We haven’t tested it ourselves but user reviews are glowing. For quick and daily vacuuming, this is great and excellent value at this price – and I don’t think it will get any cheaper.View Deal

It’s the auto-emptying version of this cordless vacuum that I rank as the #1 best vacuum in Australia, but if you don’t need that feature, this is arguably one of the best deals I can recommend on a powerful machine. You’ll get up to 70 minutes of runtime, plus a bendy wand to get under furniture, and there’s dynamic suction for the best clean possible.View Deal

This Roborock wet-dry vacuum will leave your hard floors sparkling clean thanks to powerful suction and effective cleaning. It can get up close to edges and the whole body can lay completely flat to help getting underneath tricky to reach places. This standout deal is equal to the lowest price we have seen. View Deal

Other haircare tools

This Dyson Airwrap alternative – which looks very much like the Shark FlexStyle – is already 40% off on Amazon, and it’s only just arrived in Australia! You will need to check the coupon button on the listing page to see the discount at checkout. It comes with a digital display and hotter heat settings than the Airwrap, as well as attachment recognition for the ideal settings for each. View Deal

The days are getting warmer (and humid), there are unseasonal thunderstorms in some part of the country… yes, summer is here and that ushers in the biggest shopping event of the calendar year. Black Friday has kicked off in Australia, and we’re hunting down all the best Black Friday deals live for you.

As the only person on the Australian TechRadar team who has reviewed the most number of Dyson products in the last 9 years, I’m here to help you find the best offers on all things Dyson. Whether it’s a new vacuum cleaner (psst, the Gen5Detect Absolute is proving popular this year) or you need a new purifier fan to beat the heat, I’m here to save you the maximum possible.

Even discounted, all things Dyson can be rather expensive (hey, did you see the AU$299 V8 offer?), so I’m also listing alternatives that you can consider if a Dyson doesn’t suit your needs or budget. From cordless vacuums to Airwrap and Supersonic dupes, I’ll keep you updated on the best Dyson/Dyson-like deals until the sale ends.

So stay with me until Cyber Monday (December 1) has come and gone for the latest updates.
