We’re already seeing some brilliant Black Friday laptop deals, even though the day itself isn’t until November 28. As with previous years, retailers have been launching their sales throughout November, which is good news if you’re hunting for a new laptop, Chromebook or MacBook, as it means there are more great deals, and you also have longer to do some research and find the best laptop deal for your needs.

To be brutally honest, I’ve never been a fan of single-day sales events that force people to make large purchases under time pressures. Buying a new laptop, even with a big discount, isn’t something you should rush, and back when Black Friday really was just a single day, a lot of people felt they had to press the ‘Buy’ button before the deal expires.

These days, with Black Friday deals running throughout November, it’s much easier to research the laptops, including checking out reviews and doing some proper price comparisons, before taking the plunge – and I’m here to help. I’ve been writing about laptops since 2008, and I’ve covered Black Friday laptop deals on TechRadar for over 10 years, and I’ll be using my expertise to highlight only the very best Black Friday laptop deals on this page, with live buying advice throughout the entire sales period, including Black Friday itself and Cyber Monday.

On this page you’ll find our honest and independant recommendations, as the rest of TechRadar’s computing team will be weighing in with their expertise as well, so if you’re on the hunt for the ultimate Black Friday laptop deal, no matter what your budget is, then this is the only webpage you need. If you want some further advice, check out our best laptop, best Chromebook and best MacBooks and Macs buying guides, as well as out guide to the best overall Black Friday deals.

My 5 favorite Black Friday laptop deals

Display – 13.6 inches
Processor – Apple M2
RAM – 16GB
Storage – 256GB

Newer M3 and M4 models are now available, but this is an unbelievable price for the MacBook Air 13-inch with an M2 chip. While it’s an older version, it remains an incredibly powerful laptop for those requiring a premium powerhouse for school, productivity, coding, or creative work. You also get double the amount of RAM at 16GB, although the 256GB of storage feels a little paltry in 2025. Still, we rated it highly in our MacBook Air M2 review, thanks to the stylish design, clear display, impressive performance, and long 18-hour battery life.View Deal

The Dell 14 Premium is one of the best laptops of the year, and now, with this 35% discount for Dell’s Black Friday sale, you can get a 14 Premium with Intel Core Ultra 7 255H processor with Intel Arc graphics, 16GB LPDDR5x RAM, 512GB SSD, and a 14.5-inch, 1600p 120Hz display for its cheapest price ever.View Deal

The Acer Nitro V 15 gaming laptop is an excellent system for gamers on a budget who are more than happy to tackle triple-A games at 1080p resolution. Powered by Intel’s Core i5-13420H processor and Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 4050 laptop GPU, gaming performance at 1080p is smooth, and the system can deliver impressive results when utilizing DLSS 4.View Deal

Processor: MediaTek

This Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 Chromebook is a very basic device, but it’s ridiculously cheap, making it a good buy for general web browsing, admin tasks and schoolwork. It won’t offer great performance and will struggle with anything beyond light use, but the lean ChromeOS gets more from the entry-level components and ensures a lengthy full-day battery life.View Deal

Processor: Ryzen 5
RAM: 8GB
Storage: 512GB

Ideal for streaming and working, this Asus laptop has a Ryzen 5 Processor and 8GB of RAM, which is decent for most basic needs, and an impressive 512GB of storage. It has a full numeric keypad and a webcam with a shutter. Windows 11 is in S mode, meaning this is a more simplified and secure option.View Deal

Black Friday laptop deals in the US

Processor: Intel N200
RAM: 8GB
Storage: 64GB

Here’s another fairly basic Chromebook, but this one comes with a welcome bump up to 8GB of RAM to help boost performance. It’s still best-suited to general use because of the entry-level processor and limited storage space, but it’s up to the job of web browsing, light work, writing documents, and streaming media. Plus, you get the superior battery life of up to 11.5 hours with this HP Chromebook, which is much more compared to similarly priced Windows machines.View Deal

Processor: Intel Core i3
RAM: 8GB
Storage: 128GB

If you’d prefer a similar Windows machine for the same price as the Chromebook above, then this HP Laptop 15 is also down to $219.99 at Best Buy. It also has a fairly low-end spec, but you still get 8GB of RAM and a much better Intel i3 processor, which can cover the basics without a dramatic performance dip. This is one to buy if you want a Windows laptop for general everyday use, word processing, streaming shows, web browsing, video calls, or answering emails.View Deal

Processor: MediaTek
RAM: 4GB

We’re big fans of the Lenovo Chromebook Duet at TechRadar, so I definitely want to share this price cut on the flexible 11-inch laptop. In our very positive Lenovo Chromebook Duet review, we thought the original version offered an excellent balance between tablet portability and Chromebook flexibility. This version has 4GB of RAM for acceptable performance with light use and a healthy 128GB of storage. Plus, the day-long battery life is a huge boost for those who are always on the go.View Deal

If you’re looking for a cheap machine to handle the basics, then this Dell 15 laptop is almost unbelievably affordable thanks to Dell’s discounts in the run up to Black Friday. Although it’s only got a combination of a Ryzen 5 chipset and 8GB of RAM, these should suffice if you’re just looking to do simple tasks like browsing, answering emails, or streaming content.View Deal

Here’s another great deal on a Dell 15 laptop courtesy of Dell’s current sale. This time, it’s on a much higher-end configuration, with a decent Core i5 chipset and 16GB of RAM – meaning, you’ve got plenty of power under the hood right now. This is a very, very sensible all-rounder if you’re looking for a machine that can handle relatively intensive tasks like big spreadsheets or a large amount of browser tabs. View Deal

Graphics card: RTX 4050
RAM: 16GB
Storage: 512GB

I normally steer clear of cheap gaming laptops because they often don’t provide enough bang for the buck. This Lenovo LOQ at Best Buy, however, offers good bang for your buck. With an RTX 4050 graphics card, Ryzen 5 chipset, and 16GB of RAM, this machine has enough power under the hood to run most games relatively smoothly at 1080p – if you’re willing to tweak a few graphical settings, that is. We saw this laptop go for less during Prime Day last month, so I’m hoping for some further cuts for Black Friday.View Deal

Processor: Intel Core i7
RAM: 16GB
Storage: 512GB

It’s been $30 cheaper before, but this is still one of the best mid-range laptop deals I’ve spotted right now at Best Buy. It’s a slightly older machine, but it still packs in some powerful components for the price, including a souped-up Intel Core 7 processor, a performance-boosting 16GB of RAM and a reasonably large 512GB SSD. If you want a capable all-around machine at a fantastic price, you can’t really go wrong with this one.View Deal

Processor: Intel Ultra 7
RAM: 16GB

The Dell 14 Plus is one of our favorite mid-range Windows laptops thanks to its excellent design and competitive specs. This particular configuration is a bit on the pricey end, but you do get an Ultra 7 chipset, 16GB of RAM, and a 2.5K display, meaning it’s absolutely stacked with features. If I were looking for a decent everyday laptop for everything from work to demanding productivity applications, then I’d be very tempted by this deal.View Deal

Can’t decide whether you want a tablet or laptop? You don’t have to decide with this HP Omnibook X. It’s a two-in-2 touchscreen model, meaning you can use it as a traditional laptop or fold the keyboard away to use it like a tablet. Specs-wise, this machine is well featured too, with an Ultra 7 chipset and an Ultra 7 chipset. Overall, an extremely solid and versatile laptop for the money.View Deal

Processor: Apple M4
RAM: 16GB
Storage: 256GB

The MacBook Air 13-inch (M4) is the newest version of Apple’s popular laptop and it’s now back down to a record-low price at Amazon. You get a great-looking 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display, while the boost to 16GB of RAM keeps all your programs running smoothly. It’s just a shame Apple still insists on only 256GB of storage as standard, which feels a little miserly in 2025. Nevertheless, this is still one of the best laptops you can buy if you need a performance powerhouse for productivity and creative tasks – especially after this $200 discount. View Deal

Processor: Intel Core 7-240H
RAM: 16GB
Storage: 1TB SSD
GPU: Nvidia RTX 5050

Amazon has knocked 28% off the usual $1,249.99 asking price, making this an excellent entry-level laptop with a stunning design and best-in-class build quality. For just under $900 you’re getting a gorgeously-built gaming laptop that won’t break the bank, yet offers enough power to be able to play modern games at medium to high settings. It’s not often we can recommend an Alienware device as a great budget pick, but this is one of those times.View Deal

Best Buy has Apple’s 15-inch MacBook Air M4 on sale for $1,099, thanks to Best Buy’s $100 discount. It’s for the baseline configuration with 16GB of memory and a 256GB SSD, but higher-spec alternatives are also discounted if you feel the standard storage option isn’t enough.View Deal

Display – 15 inches

Here’s a $200 discount on Apple’s 15-inch MacBook Air M3 with 512GB of storage. Our MacBook Air 15-inch review praised the display, performance, design, and speaker array, although we thought the jump in size compromised one of the MacBook Air’s key selling points – its portability. Nevertheless, this is still an impressive laptop that was awarded a full five stars.View Deal

Graphics card: RTX 5070

You likely won’t find a gaming laptop with a powerful RTX 5070 graphics card for cheaper than this Asus TUF A16 laptop at Best Buy. With $500 off, you’re paying a fantastic price here for an extremely capable machine – one that also features a Ryzen 7 chipset, 32GB of RAM, and a 1200p display. You should have no issues playing all the latest games here, even if it is still a little on the pricey end.View Deal

Processor: Intel N100

Want a laptop for a rock-bottom price? You won’t find a laptop much cheaper than this Chromebook, which is just £129.99 at Amazon. While the specs don’t look to impressive on paper, thanks to ChromeOS being so efficient, you’ll still get a solid experience from this laptop for day-to-day tasks – certainly better than any Windows 11 laptop with the same specs. The 128GB SSD is very generous for a Chromebook as well.View Deal

Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 7520U
RAM: 8GB
Storage: 512GB SSD

This is an ideal laptop for people looking to buy a new machine since Windows 10 stopped getting support on October 14. The specs aren’t amazing, but they are more than enough to run Windows 11 smoothly, as long as you don’t try opening up too many apps at once. For day-to-day use, like web browsing and sending emails, it’ll do the job nicely.View Deal

Processor: AMD Ryzen 3-7320U
RAM: 8GB
Storage: 512GB SSD

This is another great budget Windows 11 laptop that while not the most powerful, is an affordable option for people who are still using Windows 10 and want to upgrade. For standard, day-to-day, tasks, it’ll do a fine job, and at this price it’s a good pick for students, as it’ll allow them to do their schoolwork without having to carry around an expensive laptop.View Deal

Processor: AMD Ryzen 5
RAM: 16GB

You can always rely on Dell for decent cheap Black Friday laptop deals, case in point: this Dell 15 laptop. In terms of style, this one is definitely function over form, but you’re getting an extremely solid combination of a Ryzen 5 chipset, 16GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD. For £350, you really can’t go wrong here if you want a decent Windows 11 machine for the money. As an everyday machine, this is a fine choice.View Deal

Processor: Intel Core 5

Even though it’s a slightly older laptop, there’s a terrific combination of specs for the price in this Asus Vivobook 14, including an Intel Core 5 processor, a performance-boosting 16GB of RAM and a decent-sized 512GB SSD. These can make work and everyday tasks a breeze. You also get the benefit of a battery life of up to 12 hours, as well as a slim 14-inch display that makes this ideal for portability.View Deal

Processor: Intel Core Ultra 5
RAM: 16GB
Storage: 1TB

I highly rate this Asus Vivobook S16 OLED when it comes to value for money for a premium laptop. For £649, you get a powerful machine with a modern Intel Core Ultra 5 processor, 16GB of RAM and a large 1TB SSD. Plus, there’s also a crisp and bright OLED display – something you usually only see on much higher-end machines. These specs are great for all-around use, multitasking and some more demanding work, as well as watching your favourite shows and movies at the end of the day.View Deal

Processor: Snapdragon X Plus
RAM: 16GB
Storage: 256GB

This is a good price for a powerful configuration of the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge. It comes with a 15.6-inch HD display and one of the latest Snapdragon X Plus processors that boasts strong all-around performance and an excellent battery life of over 24 hours. We called these out as the main positives in our Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge review, along with the sleek and thin overall design. An AMOLED display and more storage would have been nice, but this is still a solid mid-range laptop if you need speed, performance, and responsiveness for coding, multitasking, and creative tasks.View Deal

Processor: Apple M4
RAM: 16GB
Storage: 256GB

We’ve seen this price on the latest MacBook Air, but this is technically a record-low price on this popular machine. What can I say about the MacBook Air? Well, it’s the gold standard premium laptop for a reason. You get a stunningly lightweight design, plenty of power, and unbeatable battery life. It’s quite simply the full package and you can’t go wrong if this machine is in budget. My only complaint? The utterly miserly 256GB of storage, which is how Apple purposely hobbles its entry-level configurations.View Deal

Processor: Intel Ultra 5
RAM: 16GB
Storage: 512GB

The Dell XPS 13 is the perfect choice if you want a stylish Windows 11 machine that’s both lightweight and plenty powerful. This is a great price on the latest Intel-based model, which we rate highly thanks to its surprisingly good battery life and performance. As always though, the main selling point for the XPS 13 is its stunning premium design and portability.View Deal

Processor: Snapdragon X Plus
RAM: 16GB

Microsoft makes some of the most nicely designed laptops on the market – laptops that are definitely not inspired by MacBooks (wink). Right now, one of Amazon’s best laptop deals is on this high-end Surface Laptop with a Snapdragon X Plus chipset. That means plenty of power under the hood and heaps of battery life, but the real selling point here is the machine’s lovely stylish design, build quality, and display.View Deal

A superb deal from Laptops Direct for Black Friday, this Medion Erazer is one of the cheapest machines I’ve seen yet with an RTX 5060 graphics card. A £150 price cut at the retailer is a superb deal and well worth considering if you’re looking to play games smoothly at 1080p resolution for a few years down the line.View Deal

Welcome to our live blog, where we’ll be highlighting the very best Black Friday laptop deals as they pop up across the internet. As you may expect, early laptop deals have been coming in thick and fast throughout November, and I’ll be highlighting the best deals as they appear.

Finding the best Black Friday laptop deal is particularly important in 2025, as Microsoft has ceased supporting Windows 10 with security updates in October, so a lot of people with older Windows 10 laptops will be looking to upgrade, and that’s where this page comes in.

Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 laptop with 'Don't Miss' text

If you’re looking to buy a new Windows 11 laptop it doesn’t mean you need to spend a fortune.

Over on Amazon in the UK, it’s selling the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 for just £319.99 (down from £495.13).

This is an excellent price for a stylish laptop, and with a full HD 14-inch screen, Intel Core i5 processor, 16GB of RAM and 512GB SSD, it offers excellent value for money and avoids the usual problems I have with super-cheap Windows 11 laptops (weak processors, lack of RAM and small storage). This is a great little laptop for day-to-day use, especially at this price.

If you’re looking for something more high-end, this is a brilliant deal in the UK that should not be missed: Microsoft’s excellent Surface Laptop now £1,099 (down from £1,649) at Amazon.

This is a MacBook Air-killing deal for many reasons. It features the powewrful Snapdragon X Elite chip, which crushes day-to-day tasks while being efficient enough to ensure day-long battery life, plus 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD. The 33% price cut is very tempting – however we did see it go lower in Amazon’s recent Prime Day sales.

ASUS TUF Gaming F16 16

Over in the US, Amazon has this excellent deal on the Asus TUF Gaming F16 gaming laptop, with a 25% discount, knocking the price down to $749.99.

It’s getting increasingly difficult to find a decent gaming laptop for under $1,000 these days, but this is a very good choice. Its Nvidia RTX 4050 isn’t the latest, or most powerful, GPU, but it’s a very solid budget graphics card, and with support for tech like DLSS, it means you should still be able to play modern games with high graphical settings and effects turned on. The Intel Core 5 210H processor offers very good performance, and the 512GB SSD means there’s plenty of space to store games.

I have to say the 8GB of DDR5 RAM feels a bit on the low side, but if you’re going to be primarily using this laptop for gaming rather than multitasking with loads of different apps open at once, then it shouldn’t be much of a problem, especially at this low price.

My colleague Alex, who has been covering Black Friday events for almost as long as I have, has put together some early Black Friday laptop deal picks. Here are some highlights:

Processor: Intel Core i5
RAM: 12GB
Storage: 512GB

If you want something cheap and lightweight, then this Asus Vivobook 14 at Best Buy is a good option. At 14-inches, it’s a little smaller and more portable than the 15.6-inch models that are commonly found at this price point. Specs-wise, this model is pretty impressive too. Under the hood, a combination of a Core i5 chipset, 12GB of RAM, and 512GB SSD means that this is a great option if you just want to cover the basics.

Processor: AMD Ryzen 5
RAM: 8GB
Storage: 512GB

There’s a big $230 saving available on this solid HP 15 Laptop in the latest Best Buy sale. Yes, some of the components are from the previous generation, but there’s still a mid-range AMD Ryzen 5 processor and 8GB of RAM that ensure overall performance is strong for everyday use. Plus, there’s a reasonable 512GB of storage. Overall, it’s a great option to handle all everyday jobs, some more advanced work and light multitasking.

Processor: Intel Core i5
RAM: 8GB
Storage: 512GB

If you’re looking for a solid workhorse machine that doesn’t break the bank, this HP Omnibook 5 is a great place to start. Under the hood, you get a decent (but not excessive) Core i5 chipset alongside a spacious 512GB storage drive. With 8GB of RAM, this one isn’t a high-end machine, but it should cover the basics nicely if you’re just looking to browse, shop, or do lighter work tasks.View Deal

I don’t know about you, but I’m not in the mood (or financial position) to spend a lot of money at the moment, so the Black Friday laptop deals I’m really interested in are the budget options.

Buying a very cheap laptop isn’t as simple as just going for the one with the lowest price. Unfortunately, sales events like this can see some retailers use it as an excuse to offload underpowered and outdated laptops, and no matter how cheap they are, if they don’t work well, you’ll still feel like you’ve wasted money.

So, when looking for a cheap Windows 11 laptop, I recommend going no lower than 8GB of RAM, with an SSD of 256GB (preferably more). A recent processor is also essential.

silver laptop

With that in mind, here’s a good cheap Windows 11 laptop I’ve just spotted on Amazon:

  • Dell Inspiron 3530 Laptop: was $399.99 now $279 at Amazon

For this sub-$300 price tag you get a solid and dependable laptop that won’t blow you away, but will keep up with most of the things you need it to do. Its 13th generation Intel Core i3 processor and 8GB of RAM will cope with most apps, and the 512GB SSD offers plenty of storage space.

This isn’t a multitasking workstation, but you get the flexibility of Windows 11 for the kind of price you’d usually only expect with a Chromebook.

Acer Nitro gaming laptop

I’ve just seen this great UK gaming laptop deal for the Acer Nitro V16, which was £1,299 and is now £1,099 from Very.

The specs are very good: Nvidia RTX 5070, AMD Ryzen 7 CPU, 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD. The RTX 5070 is one of the best gaphics cards you can get in a gaming laptop, and you’ll be able to play the very latest games at high settings. Sure, it’s still pricey, but with some gaming laptops going for almost three times this price, I think it’s an awesome investment for anyone looking for a gaming laptop that won’t bankrupt them.
