Amazon has knocked 36% off Philips Hue light bulbs for Black Friday – time to stock up

Philips Hue products are the definitive smart lights, and right now you can grab a pack of three Philips Hue White & Color Ambiance A19 bulbs for just $69.99 (was $109.99) at Amazon. That’s the cheapest this bundle has ever been, and much less than buying the bulbs individually or in pairs this Black Friday.

They can be set to thousands of different colors, triggered by your smart speaker or other devices, or set to a schedule. The downside is that they’re usually pretty expensive, but not today.

I have these bulbs throughout my home, but I always hold out for the Black Friday deals when I need some more – and this is exactly why. They’ve never been cheaper, even during Amazon Prime Day.

Today’s best Philips Hue bulb Black Friday deal

If you’ve been waiting for Black Friday to stock up on Philips Hue White and Color Ambiance bulbs, this is the deal for you: three A19 (screw fitting) bulbs for a record-breaking 36% off. That brings them down to just $23.33 each, which is a steal. Weirdly, it’s cheaper than buying a twin pack.View Deal

The simplest way to use these bulbs is to connect them to your phone via Bluetooth, which will give you basic control over brightness and color, and allow you to toggle them on and off.

If you want to get the full Hue experience, though, including automations, timers, and scenes, you’ll need a Philips Hue Bridge. This connects to your router and uses the Zigbee wireless protocol to connect all your Hue devices (including lights, switches, sensors, and cameras) in a wireless mesh network. You can use them individually, or group them by room or function in the Philips Hue app.

Using a Hue Bridge will also let you connect your lights to an existing smart home setup (using Amazon Alexa, Google Home, or Apple Homekit), so you can control them with a voice command to your smart speaker.

If you want a Bridge to go with your bulbs, the Philips Hue Bridge 2.0 is current down to $49.99 (was $59.99) at Amazon. That’s not a record-low price, but it’s still a reasonable discount and cheaper than I’ve seen it anywhere else this Black Friday,

The new 8K Sync Box is notoriously expensive, but it’s crashed to its lowest-ever price in the Black Friday sale at Amazon. Link it to your Philips Hue Bridge and you’ll be able to sync your lights with the action on your TV, whether that’s TV shows, movies, or games.View Deal

At just $11.08 each, these are the cheapest Philips Hue bulbs I’ve found this Black Friday. You can’t change their color using the Hue app, but you can turn them on and off, or adjust their brightness manually, on a schedule, or when triggered by an event.View Deal

These stylish little lamps project a gradient of color onto your walls, and can by synced with your TV using an HDMI Sync Box or used alone (I currently use one as a wake-up lamp). I gave them a full five stars in my review earlier this year, and this is a record-low price for a set of two (one for either side of your TV).View Deal
