The Sony WH-1000XM6 are in the Prime Day deals – but 1More’s $70 over-ears are the better buy for bargain-hunters

October’s Amazon Prime Day is finally here, and I’ve spotted a whole host of deals on top-class wireless headphones. That includes a sale on the outstanding Sony WH-1000XM6, which are just $428 (was $449.99) at Amazon. That’s a nice little saving of $22…but I think you could do better if you’re looking for a real bargain.

That’s because the 1More Sonoflow Pro HQ51 are just $70.39 (was $89.99) at Amazon, which is unbelievably cheap for cans that sound this good. Now that’s what I call a great deal!

Of course, if you were to compare these headphones side-by-side, it wouldn’t be a contest. The XM6 supply class-leading ANC, phenomenal sound, and luxurious looks.

Still, the Sonoflow Pro have all the bases covered. They offer clean, surprisingly detailed audio, stylish looks, and effective noise cancelling. So, if you want strong quality without having to pay top dollar, 1More’s cans could be the best option for you. But whichever headphones you prefer, make sure to grab them before the end of tomorrow, when Amazon Prime Day ends!

Today’s best Sony WH-1000XM6 and 1More Sonoflow Pro HQ51 deals

The Sony WH-1000XM6 are, simply put, some of the best headphones on the market right now. They combine beautifully balanced audio with silence-inducing ANC, a sleek design, and ultra-responsive touch controls. I’d recommend these whether they’re on sale or not, but a 5% discount is a tidy little saving. If you’re on the hunt for a great deal, you can do better, though. Interested? Just scroll down a little further…View Deal

These headphones are easily among the best budget options money can buy, so at just $70, you’re looking at astonishing value for money. I love the highly tunable, clean audio of the Sonoflow Pro, but I also like their distinctive on-ear look and epic battery life. If you’re searching for awesome quality at an equally awesome low price, these are the headphones to buy this Prime Day.View Deal

In my Sony WH-1000XM6 review, I lauded these headphones for their stunning audio performance, lightweight feel, and revival of foldability. It will be no surprise to many of you that the XM6 hold the crown as best overall pick in our guide to the best headphones. I mean, even their magnetic carry case is amazing, there’s just so much to like!

Meanwhile, 1More’s model is king in our list of the best cheap headphones. As I said in my 1More Sonoflow Pro HQ51 review, “you’ll struggle to find headphones as complete as this” for less than $100. They have genuinely good ANC, LDAC for ‘hi-res’ Bluetooth listening, and a battery life that stretches up to 100 hours. Yes, you read that correctly.

If you’ve got the cash, I would of course recommend Sony’s over-ears. But if you want cheap headphones that don’t skimp on quality, this Prime Day deal on the 1More Sonoflow Pro HQ51 is perfect.

There are even more great deals on headphones, however! I’ve included a couple of stand-out options below, which you might also want to consider.

More headphones deals

Until the Sony WH-1000XM6 came along, the XM4 remained atop our guide to the best headphones for years. And for good reason. They supply still-impressive noise-cancelling capabilities, plenty of playtime, and a boatload of features through Sony’s Sound Connect app. At less than $180 for Prime Day, the XM4 are the perfect middle-point option between the XM6 and Sonoflow Pro.View Deal

If you want a premium option, but the XM6’s asking price is still a little much, I’d suggest taking a look at the Sonos Ace. Personally, I like these headphones a lot. They are exemplary for movies, thanks to their Dolby Atmos and head-tracking support, but their bass-heavy sound is great for exciting music-listening sessions too. Did I mention they’re also extremely comfortable and great to look at? At 33% off, it’s the ideal time to scoop these up.View Deal
