My favorite post-gym massage accessory is now 30% off at Amazon – and yes, it’s heated

If you often find yourself dealing (or not dealing) with troublesome knots in your neck, shoulders, and upper back, consider picking up the Bob and Brad EZBack Neck Massager, which is now just $55.87 (was £$79.99) at Amazon in the US and £59.49 (was £74.99) at the same retailer in the UK.

The best massage guns are great for tackling soreness in easily accessible muscles like the quads, hamstrings, calves, and glutes, but they’re pretty impractical for targeting anything between your shoulders. The Bob and Brad EZBack massager, meanwhile, provides a neat way to address those hard-to-reach muscles.

It features four “deep-kneading 3D massage nodes”, which are a bit like those ball attachments you see on the end of regular massage guns, and they rotate inward and outward to mimic the movements of a Japanese Shiatsu massage. These nodes are heated, too, which helps to further relax muscles in your neck and upper trapezius.

How do I know this? Because I use this exact neck massager multiple times a week. I like to stick the EZBack behind my head after a tightness-inducing back or shoulder session in the gym, and the included comfort pad lets me use it more casually, too – while watching a film on the couch, for instance. So go ahead, treat your neck to some much-needed relief this Amazon Prime Day, and wonder why you didn’t invest in such a simple (and relatively inexpensive) product sooner.

Today’s Bob and Brad massager Prime Day deal

The Bob and Brad EZBack Neck Massager is down to just $55.87 as part of Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days sale. It comes in five swanky colors, and Amazon is offering almost identical discounts on every variant. Do note, though, that you’ll need a Prime membership to benefit from these savings, and the Big Deal Days sale ends at midnight on October 8.View Deal

If you’re in the UK, you’ll find an almost identical saving on the Bob and Brad EZBack massager. As in the US, though, you’ll need a Prime membership to benefit from the discount, and the retailer’s Big Deal Days sale ends at midnight on October 8.View Deal

The only real downside of the Bob and Brad EZBack is that it needs to be plugged in at all times. The cord is about two meters long, which isn’t super lengthy, but you’ll be able to chill in bed or kick back on the couch with it if you’ve got a power outlet somewhere nearby.

Oh, and don’t worry about falling asleep while wearing EZBack: a) it’s quite hard to nod off with four massage balls moving in and out of your back, and b) it automatically powers off after 15 minutes of continuous use to avoid overheating.

And here’s proof that I do indeed own one…

The Theragun PRO Plus is Therabody’s ultra-premium massage gun, with five head attachments for percussive massage, a heat therapy attachment, and a vibration therapy attachment. The gun even emits LED near-infrared red light, said to stimulate muscles and help them heal. It’s the ultimate recovery companion.

Save $50 on Therabody’s smallest and lightest Theragun. It doesn’t have the versatility of the Theragun Prime above, with fewer heads and ways to hold it, but it connects to the Therabody app to provide guided follow-along recovery routines, and features a travel lock for peace of mind on the go.

Just like the US deal above, you can save £50 on Therabody’s smallest and lightest Theragun. It’s ideal to toss in a gym bag or a suitcase to keep you mobile on the go.

The biggest discount and my personal pick when it comes to massage guns, the comprehensive and powerful Theragun Prime is reduced by over one-third of its price, to be hardly more expensive than the Theragun Mini Gen 3 deal above. If I had to pick one out of the two, I’d spend £35 more to get all those extra features, including a travel case and four heads.
