I’m not joking – every new iPad is on sale for Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days sale

Seasonal sale events are like Christmas for iPad buyers, and this year’s Amazon Prime Big Deal Days bonanza (try saying that three times) is proving particularly generous when it comes to iPad discounts.

Shop Amazon’s full Prime Day sale

The latest base, Air, Pro, and mini iPads are all on sale in both the US and UK, with savings to be found on every model in our best iPads roundup. In the US, for instance, the M3-powered iPad Air 11-inch (2025) is just $449 (down from $559), while UK shoppers can pick up the newest base iPad for as little as £284 (was £329).

Below, we’ve detailed these and more of the best Prime Day iPad deals. For a roundup of the best Prime Day Apple deals more generally, check out our dedicated Prime Day Apple deals page.

Amazon Prime Day iPad deals in the US

Apple’s latest base iPad is on sale for a record-low $279 right now. The most significant upgrade for this model versus the previous generation is the newer A16 chip for faster performance, but you’ll also get double the storage as standard (128GB instead of 64GB). Other features include a sharp 11-inch Liquid Retina display and solid 12MP front and back cameras, which make this iPad the best iPad for casual streamers and scrollers.View Deal

Amazon has the newest iPad Air with the M3 chipset on sale for a record-low $449 right now. In addition to Apple’s superfast brain, this iPad features a crisp Liquid Retina display, 128GB of storage as standard, 12MP front and rear cameras, and support for Apple’s AI features. Discounts are available on all colorways and storage variants, as well as on the larger 13-inch model.View Deal

If you like the look of the iPad Air and know that you need the highest amount of storage, then last year’s M2-powered model is worth considering. The 512GB Space Gray version is currently on sale for $749, which is $50 cheaper than Amazon’s current deal on the M3-powered iPad Air in the same storage and color combination. On paper, the latter will be slightly faster and remain supported for an extra year, but most people won’t notice that difference in performance, and you’ll get at least six more years of support for the 2024 iPad Air.View Deal

If you’re after a smaller iPad, Amazon’s Prime Day sale has knocked a huge $120 off the price of the A17 Pro-powered iPad mini. You can choose from all four colorways, and similar discounts are available on the 256GB and 512GB variants. In our Apple iPad mini A17 Pro (2024) review, we praised the new tablet’s “pocket-friendly design” and “ability to support Apple Intelligence.”View Deal

Amazon’s $899 deal on the 11-inch iPad Pro is the best on the internet right now. In our iPad Pro (2024) review (albeit for the 13-inch model), we describe Apple’s latest flagship tablet as “the impossibly thin king of iPads – and maybe all tablets.” Naturally, that level of quality comes at a premium, but Prime Day is a great time to snag a discount.View Deal

If you want the biggest and best iPad money can buy, Amazon has the iPad Pro 13-inch (2024) on sale for $1,099 right now. It’s a mighty tablet and one that’s all the more attractive with $200 off its price tag. This deal applies to both the 256GB and 512GB storage variants, in both colorways, while smaller savings are available on the larger capacity variants.View Deal

The Apple Pencil Pro isn’t just the flagship Apple Pencil; with support for the iPad Pro and iPad Air, it offers an ultra-low latency experience to mimic writing or drawing with pencil or pen on paper. You can also Squeeze the Apple Pencil Pro to pull up a palette for even more customization. Amazon’s current $99 price is an almost-record-low (it was briefly $89 in October).View Deal

Amazon Prime Day iPad deals in the UK

Apple’s latest base iPad is on sale for a record-low £284 right now.

The new iPad Air is the closest thing you can get to an iPad Pro without having to pay upwards of £1,000, which is why we believe it’s the best iPad for students in 2024. For almost half the price of Apple’s professional-grade iPad, you’ll get a beautiful Liquid Retina display, a MacBook-level M3 chipset, a landscape-oriented front-facing camera, and landscape stereo speakers with spatial audio. The larger 13-inch model is also on sale for £729 (was £799).View Deal

If you’d prefer a smaller iPad, Amazon’s Prime Day sale has knocked £38 off the price of the M4-powered iPad mini. This small but welcome saving applies to the Blue and Starlight variants, but the Purple and Space Grey variants have been discounted, too. In our Apple iPad mini A17 Pro (2024) review, we praised the new tablet’s “pocket-friendly design” and “ability to support Apple Intelligence.” Even if you can find the previous-gen iPad mini on sale for a cheaper price, we think this new model is the better, more future-proof buy.View Deal

In our iPad Pro (2024) review (albeit for the 13-inch model), we describe Apple’s latest flagship tablet as “the impossibly thin king of iPads – and maybe all tablets.” Naturally, that level of quality comes at a premium, but Amazon has seen fit to discount the 256GB, Wi-Fi-only variant of the 11-inch iPad Pro (2024) to a slightly more digestible price of £929.98 for Prime Day.View Deal

If you want the biggest and best iPad, the 13-inch iPad Pro is also on sale right now. £1198.98 isn’t a record-low at Amazon (this model was £1,149 in December last year), but £100 is a welcome saving on what is objectively the best tablet money can buy.View Deal
