New Zealand v England at Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui on Sunday October 26 is the first ODI of a three-match series.
New Zealand welcome back Kane Williamson to their squad for the first time since the Champions Trophy in March.
England also see the return of Ben Duckett, Jofra Archer, and Jamie Smith, who were all rested for the preceding T20 series against New Zealand. England won that rain-affected series 1–0, with two matches ending in no results.
This is the first one-day series between the two sides in New Zealand since February 2018, when England edged the hosts 3–2. Overall, however, the Black Caps hold the upper hand at home, with 21 wins to England’s 18.
The most recent ODI series between these teams took place in England in 2023, where the hosts claimed a 3–1 victory.
