Amazon Prime Day slashes hundreds off 2025 MacBooks – these are the deals I’d get before they’re gone

MacBooks are some of my favorite laptops. The M-series chips are incredibly performant, the build quality is unmistakably Apple, and I love using macOS for my daily browsing.

However, one thing that typically holds back MacBooks is the price tag. Thankfully, Amazon Prime Big Deal Days sales are here to help – you can save $200/£150 on just about every one of the newest MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models while the sale lasts.

Check out Amazon’s full Prime Day sale

If you’re looking for M4 performance in the most portable body you can find, the 13-inch M4 MacBook Air is now available for just $799 (£849 in the UK). And if you need a little more power, the MacBook Pro M4 starts at $1,399 (£1,499), which is a great deal for the laptop on offer. If you’ve been meaning to upgrade, now’s your chance!

Amazon Prime Day MacBook deals in the US

This is the best Prime Day MacBook deal I could find – a powerful M4 processor and 16GB of RAM, a beautiful Liquid Retina display, and a featherweight form factor come together to make one of the best laptops you can buy, hands down. And for $799 during the Prime Big Deal Day sales? Get it while it’s hot. View Deal

If you still want the portability of the MacBook Air with a little more oomph in the display, the 15-inch model is the perfect compromise. This model is a great deal at under $1,000, but if you use a lot of apps or store a lot of photos and videos, you may want to consider the $1,199 512GB storage option.View Deal

If you’ve been waiting for the MacBook Pro to go on sale, now’s your chance to cash in on those sweet Big Deal Days savings. Right now, you can get the 14-inch Apple MacBook Pro (M4) for $1,399 (was $1,599) at Amazon for a $200 discount.

The M4 MacBook Pro earned five stars in our review because of its phenomenal M4 performance, unmistakable MacBook design, and beautiful Liquid Retina display – if you have a little more cash to spend and you need the added horsepower over the MacBook Air, this is a solid deal you shouldn’t pass up.View Deal

If you’re a macOS user who wants paramount power for intensive photo or video editing, animation, or other creative endeavors, the Apple MacBook Pro 16-inch (M4 Pro, 2024) is also on sale for $2,249 during Prime Day sales.

It’s not cheap, but the Big Deal Day discount definitely helps – and you’re getting what you pay for here, with a gorgeous 16-inch display, next-to-none M4 Pro performance, and 24GB of RAM.

Amazon Prime Day MacBook deals in the UK

If you ask me what the best MacBook deal is for Prime Day, I’d point you to the 13-inch M4 MacBook Air. The price you’re getting here for M4 performance is a no-brainer, and you have loads of other benefits, like a Liquid Retina display, to boot.View Deal

For MacBook Air portability with a little extra screen real estate for your movies, shows, and presentations, the 15-inch M4 MacBook Air is the perfect fit. If you need a new laptop for school (and unwinding when you get home), this is an excellent choice – especially when you tack on the Big Deal Day discount.View Deal

Interestingly enough, Amazon doesn’t have this model on sale in the UK. However, Curry’s is here to save the day – save £100 on the laptop that’s perfect for creatives (and even some prospective Mac gamers) thanks to its M4 processor, up to 24 hours of battery life, and 14.2-inch Liquid Retina XDR display.View Deal

The M4 Pro is overkill for most – but if you want even more power than the M4 offers because you work on very resource intensive photo and video editing, animation, or machine learning projects, the 16-inch MacBook Pro with M4 Pro processor is at a tempting price for Prime Day. You can save a cool £350 on one of Apple’s most performant machines – that’s a solid deal.View Deal
