How to buy stocking stuffers on Black Friday
How we chose these stocking stuffers for Black Friday
Update 11/25/24: Our first iteration of this list has some tiny treasures that will level up anyone’s stocking. What’s not great about a mystery car for $1.18? There’s something for everybody here, and we’ll continue to add more Black Friday deals to this list throughout the year’s biggest sale event.
Christmas is upon us, and although there’s a lot of heartfelt sentiment around the biggest holiday of the year, it also means something more material: gifting (!). If you’re using early Black Friday deals to start getting gifts, that’s great — but most buys are usually too large to fit in a stocking (just try to fit one of these early Black Friday Alienware deals in a sock!), and the prices can be way off.
How much should you spend on stocking stuffers? What is “allowed”? We rounded up a list of the best gifts to buy on Black Friday for your stocking-stuffing needs — all of which are tiny treasures that will undoubtedly be well-received and, in some cases, will generate a fun laugh.

How to buy stocking stuffers on Black Friday
Stocking stuffers are meant to be small, fun gifts, so you don’t want to get anything too pricey. And, it’s annoying if the stocking is too small for the stuff, so be sure to look at the entrance hole and make sure that your items can fit inside.
Also, remember that stocking stuffers aren’t meant to overshadow the big day, Christmas. That means the gifts can be silly or fun but don’t necessarily need to be things that are truly going to “Wow” the recipient. Aiming for the understated is actually advised here, not discouraged.
At the end of the day, this is a “snack” and not a meal.
How we chose these stocking stuffers for Black Friday
Believe it or not, there is a theme to all of the items above! They are all at least somewhat adjacent to products or things we talk about here regularly.
Whether it is video games or the best coffee makers, Digital Trends has a long history of talking about more than just the latest electronic product, as we know that those things that help us get through a day working on the best business laptops (coffee!) are just as important as the tech items themselves. In other words, these are items that we think you’ll have some sort of affinity with.
Also, we made sure that the items were small and affordable. From the very first edition of this list, there were items here ranging from just a hair over $1 to around $40.
