Can’t connect your phone to Android Auto? You’re definitely not alone.

  • The issue seems to be related to a new Android Auto update.

Android Auto is one of the most popular car entertainment platforms around, allowing you to quickly connect your phone to your car’s entertainment system. Unfortunately, a new Android Auto update seems to have introduced a major bug.

Dozens of users on Google’s support forum (h/t: 9to5Google) have reported that they can’t connect their phones to Android Auto. The users also noted that the issue seems to have started after the Android Auto version 7.8.6 update.
