Outriders, Returnal, and more release for PS4 and PS5 in April

New and exciting PS4 releases seem to come out each month, giving dedicated gamers plenty of worlds to choose from. With the PS5 officially here, fans now keep track of multiple new releases and updates more than ever. Fortunately, we’ve gathered all of the best titles and listed other worthy games for you to consider. Here are all the PS4 and PS5 releases to look out for this April.

One of the more highly-anticipated games of 2021, Outriders, is a co-op RPG title that features third-person shooting mechanics. Players will create their own character and then choose from various classes, complete with their own upgradable abilities. Like Destiny and Tom Clancy’s The Division, players can also find and upgrade weapons, each with their own rarity levels.

MLB The Show 21

It’s almost baseball season once again, which means another entry in the annual MLB The Show franchise. This time, the game will also be releasing on next-gen consoles and other platforms outside of the PlayStation. New to the series in 2021 is the ability to create your own stadium, including the ballpark dimensions, wall height, and more.

Returnal (PlayStation 5)

One of the first big PlayStation 5 exclusives launches this month, with Housemarque’s Returnal marking its way to the console. Returnal is a third-person shooter that mixes psychological horror aspects with roguelike mechanics. Players will have to survive being stranded on an alien planet, stuck in a time loop, and trying to find their way out by taking down enemies and learning the secrets of the world they’re in.
