Amazon slashes price of latest MacBook Air in early Black Friday deal

Share

The countdown to Black Friday deals is almost to zero, and bargain-hunters will surely be on the lookout for Black Friday Apple deals once the annual shopping holiday rolls in. However, if you are thinking of taking advantage of Black Friday MacBook deals, you don’t have to wait until November 27. The latest MacBook Air, which was only released in March, is already being offered on Amazon with a $70 discount to bring its price down to $929 from its original price of $999.

The latest version of the MacBook Air is powered by a dual-core Intel Core i3 processor and 8GB of RAM, with 256GB of SSD storage. It features a 13.3-inch Retina display with True Tone technology and 2560 x 1600 resolution, which is the best laptop screen for its price, as well as Apple’s Touch ID fingerprint recognition technology for security on the power button.

The Magic Keyboard is one of the MacBook Air’s main features, replacing the controversial butterfly keyboard with a redesigned scissor mechanism that enables 1mm of travel on each press. The issues involving the keyboards of previous MacBooks have disappeared, though the laptop also skips the Touch Bar that was introduced in the 2016 MacBook Pro.

Apple promises up to 11 hours of battery life with the MacBook Air, though that number varies depending on your usage of the laptop. It’s a respectable number as a baseline though, and that many hours should easily get you through your daily commute and situations where you don’t have access to a power outlet.

The 2020 MacBook Air, with its enhanced graphics, excellent build quality, and updated keyboard, makes it a solid option for both the daily use of Mac lovers and as an introduction for first-time Mac owners. The laptop was released just this year, but it is already being sold at a discounted price of $929 on Amazon, for $70 off its original price of $999. There’s no telling how long this early Black Friday deal will last, and no guarantee that there will be a better deal on November 27, so if you are thinking of buying a MacBook Air, there’s likely no better time to click that Buy Now button.
