You can’t afford to miss this Dell XPS 13 deal this Labor Day weekend

If you’re browsing Labor Day sales, this is a deal you might want to run, not walk to. The Dell XPS 13 laptop with its amazing touchscreen could be everything you want in a smart, portable computer. It’s rare to see a top laptop below $1000, but right now the Dell XPS 13 is on sale for only $700. That’s $150 off its regular price of $850. If you’re looking for a new top-tier laptop for back-to-school or work, this could be the one for you.

Whatever your circumstances this fall — whether you’re working from home, traveling, or on a new campus — something that nearly everyone needs is a powerful, fast computer that can carry all of its features and efficiencies on-the-go. It doesn’t matter if you’re going from home to the office, or just from room to room in your home, the Dell XPS 13  is designed as the ultimate travel companion. It’s very small, only 13 inches, which is the most compact laptop Dell makes, and it weighs in at 2.7 pounds, which is ultra-light.

That size is especially impressive when you consider what it can do. The Dell XPS 13 is loaded with the newest 10th-generation Intel Core i5-10210U Processor (6MB Cache, up to 4.2 GHz) backed up by 4GB RAM and 128 GB Solid-State Drive (that’s a ton of room, and in terms of Solid-State, there’s not much faster, or more reliable). What all this gives you is one versatile machine. It means that you can do not just anything, but everything — many tabs open, including stream Netflix, design a presentation, game, sort through photos — all at once.

Something else we love about this laptop is the camera. Yeah, it’s 7MP and HD, but more importantly, Dell has repositioned the webcam on this laptop to the top of the screen, and they’ve centered it on the InfinityEdge display. Also, Dell has upgraded the four-element camera lens — it’s now smaller, and yet provides even better images, especially in low light, which was a previous shortcoming. This is essential stuff for a day filled with Zoom and Skype calls.

And the screen on which you’ll see all this go down is beautiful. The 13.3-inch screen has 8 million pixels of 4K Ultra HD resolution. There is a super-trim bezel and a 16:9 aspect ratio. It’s visual and video heaven, but yet it’s not too taxing on the battery, a key factor in deciding on any portable computer. How does 19 hours sound? That’s what you’ll get on a single charge (17 if you’re streaming your favorite content). And out of the box, it comes ready to work with Windows 10 Home, killer Wi-Fi 6 AX1650 (2 x 2), and Bluetooth 5.1, and the touchpad is as responsive and easy to navigate as ever.

Whether you’re headed back to work, or school, this fall, check out the Laptop deals we’ve collected, with computers that can not only travel with you, but help with your everyday needs. If you’re looking for a personal PC that’s light as air, utterly efficient, not too hard on the wallet, and ideal for transportation, we suggest you jump on this deal for $150 off a Dell XPS 13. It’s only $700, down from its original price of $850, at Dell.
