Second wave of MIUI 12 updates now going out to Xiaomi and Redmi phones

Xiaomi is now rolling out the MIUI 12 stable update to a lot of phones.

MIUI 12 is now official, with Xiaomi’s latest skin offering an array of new features. Some of those features include an improved system-wide dark mode, AI-assisted calling features, Dynamic Always-on Display, new visual design, tweaks to system animations, and much-needed privacy fixes.

Xiaomi is now rolling out the stable MIUI 12 update to a lot of phones in the Redmi, POCO, and Mi series. The first wave of devices received the update back in July, and the second wave of phones are getting the update now, including the Redmi Note 8 series, and more.

The update is going to users in India, UK, and other markets, and Xiaomi will roll out the update to more phones in the coming weeks and months. Here’s when your Xiaomi, Redmi, or POCO phone will receive the MIUI 12 stable update.

MIUI 12 stable update: Rolling out right now

Xiaomi is now rolling out the stable MIUI 12 update to a lot of phones. These are the phones that have received the update in the first wave:

The second wave is kicking off in China, so it may be a few weeks before it makes its way to other markets. If you’re using any of the phones in the list above, head to your phone’s settings to manually initiate the OTA update.
