Like most other M-series phones, the Galaxy M41 will likely debut in India before other markets.

What you need to know

  • A listing on the website of China’s 3C regulatory body suggests Samsung’s rumored Galaxy M41 will pack a 6,800mAh battery.
  • The Galaxy M41 is expected to feature an Infinity-O display and triple rear cameras.
  • It will likely be formally announced sometime later this quarter.

In March this year, popular leaker @OnLeaks shared the first CAD-based renders of the Galaxy M41, revealing a hole-punch display and a triple-camera setup on the back. While the phone was expected to be Samsung’s first to use a third-party OLED display, a report out of Korea claimed last month that the phone had been canceled and that the Korean company is now focusing on the Galaxy M51 instead.

Surprisingly, however, the phone’s battery has now been spotted on the website of China’s 3C certification body (via RootMyGalaxy). According to the listing, the Galaxy M41 will come equipped with a whopping 6,800mAh battery. That’s nearly twice as large as the 3,500mAh battery inside its predecessor and also bigger than the 6,000mAh cell fueling the Galaxy M31.

An actual photo of the phone’s battery has also surfaced, courtesy of the Safety Korea website. The two listings contradict the recent report out of Korea and suggest the phone is set to be launched soon. Sadly, the rest of the Galaxy M41’s tech specs remain unknown at this point.

With its eye-catching design and a gorgeous AMOLED display, the Galaxy A51 is worth considering if you’re looking for a new mid-range Android smartphone. It also delivers all-day battery life and has a quad-camera setup on the back with a 48MP main sensor.
