Apple announces renewed but trusted iPhone SE (2020)

Share

As expected, Apple today announced a new iPhone. The renewed iPhone SE has just been placed on its website. It is an iPhone with a familiar appearance with large screen edges but still has much-needed innovations inside.

Rumors about a remake of the iPhone SE had been going on for some time; a semi-advantageous iPhone with familiar looks + fingerprint scanner. The iPhone SE 2020 is only in terms of appearance more the successor to the iPhone 8 from 2017 but with powerful Apple A13 Bionic processor.

The new iPhone SE 2020 in all its new colors. The iPhone SE (2020) features a 2020 compact screen size of 4.7 inches. Those who had hoped for smaller will be deceived and will now really have to switch to something bigger. The Retina HD screen supports HDR10 and Dolby Vision, so the display is colorfast. Unlocking goes nice and old-fashioned with your fingerprint. Face ID is missing. Both front and back are made of glass, so you can charge the SE 2020 wirelessly. Wired fast charging is also possible.

Powerful A13 Bionic

Inside, the Apple iPhone SE (2020) is quite modern. This is mainly due to the application of the A13 Bionic processor. That is the same chip as in the iPhone 11, 11 Pro and even the 11 Pro Max. So gaming will go at similar speeds. That computing power is also used for the camera. The device has a single camera with 12 megapixel sensor and f/1.8 lens. Via machine learning, it still does portrait mode and depth recognition.
