This Gigabyte gaming laptop deal gets you an Intel Core i9 for less than $2,000

With Black Friday behind us and Cyber Monday only a day away, a fresh round of deals has begun to go live on various retailers. One of them brings the latest Gigabyte Aero 15-X9 gaming laptop down to a staggering starting cost of $1,500, $600 less than its $2100 street price. The device’s top-of-the-line variant — which usually sells for $2,600 — has been heavily discounted by $700 as well and gets you an Intel Core i9 six-core chipset for less than $2,000.

The Gigabyte Aero 15-X9 is the gaming laptop of your dreams. Its i9 model, which is now available for $1,900, offers just about anything you’d want from such a machine and more.

For starters, it’s powered by Intel’s powerhouse of a processor, the 8th-gen Core i9 and packs 16GB of RAM. On top of that, for all your gaming and resource-intensive tasks, it houses an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 8GB card and 1TB of SSD.

The laptop features the usual gaming trappings too including an RGB backlit programmable keyboard and a 15.6-inch edge-to-edge 1080p screen with a refresh rate of 144Hz. Apart from that, the Gigabyte Aero 15-X9 comes cladded in a metal chassis and is surprisingly slim (19mm) and portable of a laptop of its caliber. To put it in perspective, the latest MacBook Pro 16-inch measures 15.5mm.

In addition, there’s an ample set of ports. It has three standard USB-A slots, two USB 3.1 Type-C, an HDMI port, an SD card reader, and a headphone jack. Gigabyte claims the built-in 94Wh battery can last eight hours on a single charge. The Gigabyte Aero 15-X9 is capable of handling everything you throw at it and at a starting price of $1,500, it’s unrivaled. For the same set of specifications on any other laptop, you will have to shell out at least $3,000.

However, there are several laptop deals you have the option to look into. Apple’s new 16-inch MacBook Pro is still selling for $200 less and a ton more are expected to drop with Cyber Monday closing in.
