Long story short, your PlayStation VR camera tracks your movements by the lights on your headset and your Move controllers. The camera will scan your room and choose a color for your Move controllers to display in order to combat the lights and colors around your room. This is why your Move controllers light up differently in different rooms!
So, if you turn off all your lights, block out the sun, and turn on a green LED bulb, your PlayStation camera will only have to compete against the green. This prevents it from having to also register posters, wall paint, carpet color, and so forth. The easier you make it for your console to process information, the better it will work.
How to find the best Black Friday deals on PSVR Accessories
You’ll notice that a lot of these accessories aren’t necessarily directly related to virtual reality. When it comes to finding the best deals on Black Friday, you’ll need to think outside of the box and try to find brands you may not have heard of before. Keeping your PSVR lenses clean is incredibly important, and making sure you don’t have a lot of natural lighting in your room at the time will make your experience even better. You don’t need expensive microfiber cloths or blackout curtains to get the job done.
Aside from bargain hunting some lesser-known brands, PlayStation itself will likely offer discounts on some of its first-party peripherals. When it comes to accessories like the AIM controller, you’ll want Sony’s own product to ensure it works as intended. Even though a new PSVR headset isn’t releasing alongside the PS5, the current one is still compatible, so Sony will be trying to sell as many as possible.
