Share

Whether you love the Google Pixel 2 design and want to enhance it, or you’re simply looking for drop protection for your new phone, there’s a case that’s perfect for you. Google partners with a number of accessory makers for its “Made for Google” certification program featured in the Google Store, but you can also find a ton of quality third-party cases to fit your needs. Here are the absolute best cases you can get your Google Pixel 2 — from Google and from Amazon.

Spigen Neo Hybrid Case

The Spigen Neo Hybrid’s Herringbone-textured back is smooth but grippy in the hand, and the sculpted curves of the polycarbonate hardshell look stylish and sturdy in equal measure. The port cutouts keep well clear of boxy USB-C cables and OTG adapters, and while it’s easy to get the phone in and out of the case, trust me, you won’t want to take it off ever again.

Fun and protective

OtterBox Symmetry

You may know OtterBox for its super protective and super bulky cases, but that’s not all the company has up its sleeves. With the OtterBox Symmetry, you get a case that keeps the Pixel 2 safe from drops of all kinds and has a raised edge over the screen. The best part? The case has a relatively slim profile and comes in some pretty fun colors/patterns!

You gotta feel this

Google Fabric Cases

Google-Knit-case-pixel-2-press_0.jpg?ito

Similar to Samsung’s Alcantara cases, these crafty cases look — and most importantly feel — like the luxurious fabric on the Google Home Mini and Daydream View. Designed in-house by Google, you can be sure of the build quality and fit. These cases offer a premium microfiber liner to ensure your device stays scuff-free.

Leather luxury

Bellroy Leather Case

Bellroy-leather-pixel2-press_0.jpg?itok=

Made using premium leather and a soft microfiber lining, this is a lightweight case that will keep your phone well protected and age beautifully over time. It’s also backed by a 3-year warranty from Bellroy, meaning that this case should still be standing when the Pixel 2 reaches end-of-life in October 2020.

A truly thin case

Totallee Case

While it looks too thin to do much of anything, you really can rest easy with the Totallee case. You don’t have to worry about smudges, scuffs, scrapes, or chipping the coating Google adds to the Pixel 2. Totallee made this case so you can get a basic safeguard against regular wear-and-tear while also giving your phone a new splash of color without adding any bulk.

Take your case to the max

Maxboost Folio Style Wallet Case

maxboost-wallet-pixel-2-press.jpg?itok=D

Maxboost’s wallet case sports three card slots on the inside flap, a hidden side pocket for some cash, and a magnetic strap that holds down this lithe wallet and keeps everything secure. Clean port and earpiece cutouts ensure that this case doesn’t interfere with using the phone and let you talk on the phone without leaving your wallet open for all to see.

Carved has a bunch of great case options available for phones like the Pixel 2, including 52 stylish pre-made option featuring a mix of cool prints and fancy cut wood designs, and if those don’t suit you, create your own custom case using an online case designer. Hidden in plain sight

Teelevo Wallet Case

teelevo-pixel-2-wallet-case-cropped.jpeg

For the most part, wallet cases usually look like the Maxboost case we mentioned with a folio design. However, that’s not always the case. With this option from Teelevo, you get what looks like a pretty standard case. However, a bottom flap opens up to reveal a slot where you can store up to two cards at a time. Nice.

It’s a tank

I-Blason Armorbox

For those times when you need to protect your Pixel 2 as much as humanly possible, there’s there I-Blason Armorbox. Without a doubt, it’s one of the sturdiest and most rugged cases you’ll find. It’s shock-absorbent, has a built-in screen protector, a kickstand, and comes in four great colors.

Moment Photo Case

The Moment Photo Case is unlike anything else on this list. And no, I’m not talking about the wood finish on the back (although it is really nice). With the Moment Photo Case, you can attach a variety of Moment lenses on the back to make the Pixel 2’s already-great camera even better. That may be hard to believe, but it’s true.

If we had to choose

spigen-neo-hybrid-pixel-2-case-review-5.

It’s difficult to pick just one case out of all the excellent ones being offered for the Pixel 2, but if there’s one that stands out from the rest of the pack, it’d have to be the Spigen Neo Hybrid.

The Neo Hybrid is a tried-and-true case that we’ve recommended for phone after phone, and on the Pixel 2, it shines as bright as ever. The build quality is fantastic, it has a fun design, and offers pretty great protection without adding too much bulk. Add that together with a price we think you’ll like, and it’s easy to see why this one is such a winner.

Other great choices are the Bellroy Leather Case if you want something a bit more premium and the Totallee Case for folks that want some coverage while adding virtually no thickness or weight to the Pixel 2 at all.
