Google's Santa Tracker returns to spread some holiday cheer

Play fun games and learn how to code in Santa’s Village this holiday season.

Google’s Santa Tracker is back in time for the holiday season. This year, Google is adding a new Elf Maker that lets you customize an elf, and you’ll be able to follow Santa around in the days leading up to Christmas thanks to location sharing in Google Maps. Google is also expanding the feature to highlight how people around the world celebrate Christmas, with photos from Local Guides and a festive quiz powered by Google Earth and Street View.

There are a variety of games to choose from, and you can also ask Google Assistant to tell you a short story by saying, “Hey Google, tell me a Christmas story”. Starting December 23, you’ll be able to track Santa’s progress by asking Assistant, “Hey Google, where’s Santa?”

Santa Tracker and Santa’s Village are accessible from the web or via the Play Store.
