As the name suggests, the Fire HD 10 has a 10.1-inch 1920 x 1200 display that looks great for watching movies, playing games, and browsing the web. To further enhance your media consumption, Amazon also outfitted the tablet with stereo Dolby speakers that provide seriously powerful audio. On the technical side of things, there’s a 1.8GHz quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM, offering enough horsepower for just about every app and game you can download.
The $100 model comes equipped with 32GB of internal storage, or you can step up to the 64GB model that’s also discounted to just $120. Alternatively, you can pick up a microSD card and expand your storage that way up to a whopping 256GB.
The Fire HD 10 is technically powered by Android, but it runs a custom software interface designed by Amazon itself. The software places a big emphasis on various Amazon services, such as online shopping, Prime Video, Kindle books, etc. It’s not for everyone, but if you want something that’s easy to use or already spend a lot of time within Amazon’s garden, it’s a great fit.
