Buy a tempered glass screen protector
If you have a Pixel 3 with a screen that’s scratched and/or has hairline cracks, you can save your phone from even worse harm by picking up a tempered glass screen protector.
Leaving scratches and small cracks unattended will allow them to quickly get worse over time, but if you apply a screen protector to worn-out display, you should be able to keep on using your phone like normal.
It’s important that you buy a tempered glass protector instead of a plastic/film one as it’s more durable and gives your actual screen a lot more protection.
Take advantage of your Google Preferred Care plan
When you buy the Pixel 3 through the Google Store, you’re given the option of purchasing Google Preferred Care (a special extended warranty program for select Google products). If you’ve got Google Preferred Care, your Pixel 3 is covered for a minimum of two years with up to two accidental damage claims.
Shatter or crack your Pixel 3’s screen? Just send it to Google and they’ll send you a replacement device ASAP so you can keep on keeping on.
