Best Buy’s Black Friday ad is here with deals from Amazon, Google, and more

Share

Another day, another Black Friday ad. As we inch closer to the big day itself, we’re beginning to see all the major retailers lay their cards on the table and show off the deals they will be hosting. Best Buy’s ad was revealed today and includes hundreds of deals on tech from big-name brands like Apple, Amazon, Microsoft and Google as well as a plethora of TV and home products from the likes of Samsung, LG, KitchenAid and more.

A number of the Black Friday ad deals are already live so you can make the most of the savings now, with the rest of the featured deals kicking off on November 22.

The Lenovo Smart Display has only been on sale a few months and we’re seeing its first significant sale for Black Friday. You can use it to stream video, surf the web, play music, and more. It includes Google Assistant built-in and is equipped with 10W full-range speakers, an 8-inch iPS display, dual microphone arrays, and the ability to control over 1,500 connected smart devices. Check out the Android Central review for in-depth information all it’s capable of.

This deal is live now, so grab it for half off while supplies last.

23andMe DNA Ancestry Kit: $59 with $10 BBY Gift Card

Super popular as gifts and a great thing to do with your family over the holidays, the 23andMe Ancestry DNA testing kit is down to $59 and comes with a free $10 Best Buy gift card.

All you have to do is provide a saliva sample and send it back to 23andMe’s lab and you’ll get a detailed breakdown of your ancestry. There are regular promotions on these kits throughout the year across a number of retailers, but this price is around $10 off what we usually see making it a great time to pick one (or more) up.

Ring Video Doorbell 2 + Echo Dot (3rd Gen): $139.99

This video doorbell normally sells for $200 on its own, and the new Echo Dot is $50, meaning this is a savings of $110 when bundling them together. With Ring’s video doorbells you can keep an eye on your home from anywhere, and even interact with others at your door right from your phone. The Echo Dot can be used to answer the doorbell and to control tons of other smart home gadgets.

You can take advantage of this deal right now!

Deals or benefits

There’s free shipping on all online orders with no minimum purchase requirement for the duration of the holiday season. This is great news as you don’t have to worry about delivery charges eating in to your savings, particularly on cheaper items.

Best Buy is offering some financing options for purchases of $479 and up and 10% back in rewards on the first day of purchases for new My Best Buy Credit Cardmembers.

Deals Worth Ignoring

Some of the deals in the ad that are matched elsewhere or see frequent price drops throughout the year, so it’s not worth stressing about grabbing them. There are gift card savings for stores like iTunes and Google Play which are fine — I mean, any discount on a gift card is essentially free money — but not exactly blockbuster. The Nvidia Shield TV Gaming Edition will go down to $160, but we’ve seen it go lower before and the Xbox One S 1TB Minecraft Creators Bundle has a better Black Friday offer at Kohl’s.

  • iPad Mini 4 (128GB): $250
  • iPhone X: $200 off

Store information

Doors open at 5PM local time on November 22 for in-store shoppers and will remain open until 1AM November 23. Stores will then re-open at 8AM on Black Friday for more doorbuster deals — the same format we’ve seen in previous years.
