Russia wants to scrub LinkedIns presence from the country completely. According to The New York Times, people in the country can no longer download the social networks mobile application from the App Store or Google Play. Russian authorities required Apple and Google to kill the app from the local version of their software markets, a couple of months after a local court ruled that the service violated its data protection rules.
