As a quick refreshers, the Shield Android TV is powered by the high-end Tegra X1 chip, capable of providing console-like graphics, and backed by 2GB RAM. The base model has just 16GB storage but can be further augmented by microSD and external drives. As for the software, the Shield Android TV is powered by Android TV, on top of some excellent NVIDIA-specific extras like the GeForce Now gaming service that streams PC games right to the set-top box with no PC required. If you have a compatible PC, you can also locally stream many PC games to the box as well.
